Love the weapons...but that paint job got me saying hell no !!! Maybe they can create an accessory pack to upgrade the 1st movie Ironhide.

it seems like some of his weapons were shafted from final release, and the head looks like its made of rubber!

Seriously NOT loving the mud brown paint-job on his head. Or were the colors there to highlight the changes that were made to the final mold?
Either way, I like that he has a mouthplate; looks nice on him.

Uh... the mouth is the painted part on the bottom of the face. if there was a mouthplate, there wouldve been serious news about it.

You're right, upon closer inspection, it isn't a mouthplate. Just one thing; I checked the head of my 2007 Ironhide which has a normal mouth, and the Recon Ironhide does look somewhat different at the "nose area". There seems to be more detail (not just the colors, but the etched detailing as well) to the normal Ironhide in the same region.

Looks like a new head, I just compared the pictures with my ROTF Ironhide and the mouth area is completly different. IMHO the new head is nicer than the ROTF one.

In the movie he has a mouthplate just like Optimus, it's his battlemask. Bumblebee has one as well.
On the poster he also has the plate, and not the mouth/lips thing that the previous versions had.
I like his new face, better eyes then the boring black ones. So this is the only Ironhide with a new face?
