I want to like the altmode, I usually love planes, but it's so out of scale with the radar dish and the color of the plane just turns me off to it.
I just can't find a single thing to like about this guy. His Mechtech weapon...so much more could be done with it. I'll bet it's a bunch of hollow space in there after the gears and springs. That empty space could be utilized, I'd think.

I don't mind the alt mode (and like all others, mech-tech weapons can be removed and ignored forever) but the robot mode kills it. That being said, I could learn to live with those legs, but the silly damn tail fin hand is just ridiculous!

Alt mode isnt bad but the stupid looking hand and the poor scale really ruin it. For what the alt mode is this should have been a larger figure.

Funnily enough, I kinda like him because I'm getting a Quickstrike thing from him. The actual Quickstrike homage is just pretty cool.
I wonder where my standards were lowered to being happy he has a basic set of joints that point in the right directions.

I think the tail fin hand is meant to be a flail weapon. Still sucks though.

You're probably right. Would have made a much better detachable gun weapon though. And the radar dish is a shield AND a gun? That's stupid. Though if the tail had been a gun as well then you'd have a shield AND a gun at the same time or dual guns. Total missed opportunity.
Though I have to say that aside from the lame-o right arm the robot mode looks better than the original photos we were shown a bit ago. Much less "stick figure" looking.
Regarding scale or lack thereof, I'm amazed at the indignation.
I'm shocked, shocked to find Transformers not in scale (or with scaled accessories)!
If it shows up in retail I might be tempted if only to try and mod that tail section into a gun that still attaches in jet mode.

Somehow a couple of these pictures actually make him look not bad. Yeah, way less 'stick-figure' as someone mentioned. You know what would get me to buy him? Paint him as G1 Octane.

this could've been a great figure but hasbro took the lazy rout yet again, only way id even think about getting this mold is if hes repainted as octane. Even then it wouldnt be a must buy.

What is it with you guys? He's well engineered Id'e say, and the hand gives him two plus things.
1) Claw hand, One of few Disproportionate Autobots,
2) Mace Hand and Sheild. I like the options of what you can do with it, or just use it as a scythe/blade of sorts. He's very expendable, and for those of you who collect Cyberverse, well, he should fit in just fine. I like him, I WILL Pick up on site, and I DONT Care for what all you haters think! He's coming home with me! Just like blazemaster did! Guess what? I love him. Give things a chance, huh?
