Well, it is much closer to the comic artwork.
I'll have to decide if I care enough about the figure to have it twice.

That's an exaggeration. She's got some more red. It's just not a good enough figure to deal with those import fees. Sorry. It's ok and cool but chronic is more worth it.

The Hasbro release of Windblade is more comic color accurate, correct?

Negative. Just the opposite.Agamemnon wrote:The Hasbro release of Windblade is more comic color accurate, correct?

Ah, gotcha. The world is right again. I thought there was discussion initially that Hasbro's was more comic accurate. Must have been another figure...
[Edit] As I look at my comic that came with the figure, the cover art is accurate to Hasbro's scheme. But, looking at the inside, the Takara one is closer to the interior art.

And frankly, the Sarah Stone/Takara deco is much prettier since it gives some much needed color to an otherwise uncolored jet mode.

However, a few select comics (and some covers) not done by Sarah Stone colored Windblade kinda similar to her Hasbro toy:

But the early/Stone/Takara deco is more ubiquitous (and nicer).

Takara based theirs on Sarah Stone's coloring of Windblade, which in turn was based on early concept coloring for the character. The Hasbro toy is the finalized color scheme, but the comics instead depict the earlier unfinalized deco, which Takara decided to emulate for their toy.Agamemnon wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Negative. i dont have the figure and if i were to get one i think the Takara version would be better since the hasbro version is kind of dull needs more color from what i have seen which includes reviews of her from Baltmatrix , i think Internet Personality Vangelus , and Optibotimus

what are those two stupid holes up on Arcee's shoulder things supposed to be for? I know they were on the animated one where she stored her swords but it looks unnecessary on this figure. could've made it really streamlined without those. cannot unsee them now...

Her guns can be stored there to resemble rocket launchers.

Yet, no one complained about them on the Hasbro version of the figure.K2vox wrote:what are those two stupid holes up on Arcee's shoulder things supposed to be for?
