In-Hand Images of Triggerhappy and Getaway from Titans Return Wave 3 Deluxe Case Assortment

Fellow Seibertronians, little time has passed since they were revealed at the New York Comic Con, but wave three of Titans Return is already trickling out in parts of the world. Courtesy of ???? on weibo.com we get a farily solid in-hand look at two of the upcoming deluxes: Triggerhappy and Getaway. We get a nice close look at their faces and Triggerhappy's undercarriage which shows his alt. mode has surprisingly little robot mode kibble visible when transformed. While most of us are still waiting and hunting for wave 2, be sure to take a quick break to let us know what you think of these upcoming figures.

really looking forward to trigger-happy - one of those that got away at the toyshop as a kid - holding him up examining him.. wanting to get him but alas either because there were funds or cos there was another more important figure...

+ he looks like an excellent update - hope the other targetmasters make it to the line

Triggerhappy looks amazing! Looks like they redid how the legs work for transformation, too.

I blame MTMTE for not letting me like Getaway. [-(

Looking forward to seeing how Hot Rod works. Doublecross/Twinferno I'm ambivalent, mainly because I'm not into the Monsterbots.

WOAH, Triggerhappy is looking really impressive! He has literally no robot mode kibble underneath aside from his thighs
No hollowness, either. I'm getting Cybertron/Universe 2008 vibes!
This is looking to be an incredible well-engineered figure. I can't wait for him!

Want. So much want. Might get this guy for my office desk.

Cobotron wrote:So I picked up PMOP the other day. All in all he is way cooler than I expected, and looks a ton better in-hand. But...

I got some QC lemons. One of the panels that forms the leg/trailer is just straiaght up missing pin. And his left shoulder ratchet has no ratchet, and can't support the weight of it's self.
Anybody else have any of these issues.

Missing paint on the chest windows is the common complaint

Love the look of Triggerhappy, instabuy for me. I like the character of Getaway as a G1 character but he looks so plain. Reprolabels is probably rubbing their hands together like Mr. Burns right now thinking, "exxxxxcelleeeennnt..."

I picked up Highbrow last week from a local Walgreens. His head doesn't connect very well to the body at all. No matter which way you face the Titan Master head in the neck port on the body, it doesn't hold securely at all. Highbrow has an extreme bobble head. The slightest touch, and the head pops back out of the socket. Does anyone else's Highbrow have this problem, or did I get a lemon?

+ Hands -> Guns (+ more guns!)
+ Star Wars-y space ship mode with minimal robot parts
+ color matches with Terri-Bull (or at least it's close enough)
+ handsome robot mode with a transformation step I can't immediately figure out just by looking at photos (it seems simple, but the cockpit-torso, nosecone, and legs don't look like they ought to be were they are)
+ Decepticon

Yup, definitely gonna get Triggerhappy

Shouldn't Getaway have dark grey?

That was what sold me, its all I need in a toy to be sold on it. Bought on sight (with rainchecks)!

Highbrow is a retool of Scourge, who also has this problem. So I don't think you have a lemon, you have what we have. There is an easy fix though.

Interesting. I've got three Hasbro Scourges and one Takara Scourge. The Takara one is fine. One of the Hasbro ones is fine, one is a little loose, and the remaining one is a bit looser still, but none are as bad as this Highbrow. Would you point me towards the fix? :)

Same here about Getaway.

I really am looking forward to Triggerhappy. I am loving the whole wave so far save Getaway and will be getting so many of these guys. Plus, I think we can all agree Triggerhappy is not a retool of Highbrow. I don't think he can be. The arms are the only thing that look similar

I can't remember where exactly, but it involves cutting a old credit card (or something like it: gift card, old debit card, etc.) and sticking it into the sides on the outside of the headmaster slot. Also, I see you went the way of three hasbro Sweeps and Takara Scourge. Good call.

All these comments about Breakaway being plain-looking... Not sure what ya'll were expecting with Hasbro trying to pay homage to a guy whose classic look has always had a rather plain-looking deco from the get-go:

Even in Japan did Getaway's counterpart Lightfoot look even more plain with his windows no longer red, and his faceplate the same gray as his helmet, in the cartoon:

Thanks for the tip. I've got an idea of what the problem is now, so I might be able to improvise something a little different if the trick you mentioned doesn't work. Right now, I'm also using Takara's Unite Warriors Cyclonus with a couple of Hasbro Combiner Wars Cyclonuses as his "Armada." They all look great together with Hasbro's Titans Return Galvatron (who is borrowing the Head Master, hip pieces, and cannon from Takara's Transformers Legends Galvatron).

The problem with Hasbro's Titan's Return Getaway is that he needs a bit more paint. He's a rather lazy effort for a straight up repaint (not retool) of Chromedome with a different Titan Master face. If they had added some red paint to the shins and some blue paint to the arms, Getaway would look much better in robot mode.

I know you did say classic look; but let's face it, the one thing people want him for...
