I didn't recall it until just now, but during a Cobra training exercise in Countdown for Zartan, Storm Shadow demonstrates that "The ninja, himself, is a weapon!" (I'm probably misquoting a tad) by jumping around a tank and striking it in various spots that turn out to be its fracture points, causing it to fall apart seconds later. In other words, despite the term not being koined for another 4 years, Storm Shadow apparently knew Metallikato...or maybe Crystalocution. This begs the question of whether Bludgeon has some connection to the Arashikage, and if we're lucky, the fiction accompanying these exclusives will give us an answer.

Yes, I know it'll likely play off Marvel continuities more than the cartoon, but still...
