In-Package Images of Reveal The Shield Mindset

Is he Autobot or Decepticon? All that needs to be done to figure that out is by either checking out his biography or by pressing his 'Shield' faction rub-sign. Both can be found in the pictures below, as Reveal The Shield Mindset has showed up at TFclub's Taobao auction page. Mindset is a repaint of HFTD Hailstorm and is homaging the Generation One comic character of the same name. Check everything out below!

Change does not sit easily with MINDSET. He likes things the way they are, and it is the weight of tradition that drives his opposition to the DECEPTICONS. They upset the balance of things, an offense for which he can never forgive them. The only alteration with which MINDSET is comfortable at all is that wrought on the landscape by one of his missile baragges.

I'm digging the headsculpt, but I'm a little put down by color schemes that are borderline monochromatic, like the main body and legs in this case.

I like those pics a lot more than previous ones. I might get one after all and apply a black wash over it.

Are they continuing the generations line?
Havent heard of any new releases for it in a while, everything seems to be reveal the shield.
I hope they are cause i want more war for cybertron characters, be a real disappointment if they only release 4 from the game and cliffjumper

I just got Hailstorm, and I really like him. And while I generally like the blue color they used for Mindset, it's a fairly boring paint job compared to Hailstorm.

Looks so much better than Hailstorm !!! I really hated the green and red. I never heard of Mindset, hope he is a decepticon, as far as Im concerned he will be in my collection...

Mindset was a decepticon fella from the G2 Marvel comic. We were told that he was the inspiration for Hailstorm's toy when it was unveiled - then later told that there would be a redeco named Mindset. Through typical Hasbro logic, said (this) redeco actually looks less like the comic Mindset than Hailstorm does, in addition to being the wrong faction. Go figure.

On the plus side, the reveal the shield gimmick means that, without any visible Autobot insignias, he remains quite displayable with decepticons!!

Love the mold, like the new head-sculpt and deco, and my autobots could use some extra firepower. He will be bought :D

This guy is looking better. I like these photos a lot better than the first ones we saw.

Doesn't it defeat the purpose of Reveal the Shield to have the faction symbol and allegiance in the description on the back of the package? Kind of takes away the fun if you're buying a figure who you don't know much about.

I totally LOVE the way his headsculpt comes across in these photos and I am now, officially sold on Mindset whereas, before, I was on the fence because he looked slightly uncool. Better photos are always a great deciding factor.

I didn't know of the character's existence honestly but IMHO I like the colors way more than Hailstorm. It's just too bad they chose an Autobot for the next mold. I feel they should have made him a Decepticon some how just to get that "seekers" feel to it and then have one more repaint down the line as another Decepticon, 'nuff said

The theory over at tfw2005 is that Hasbro made an error and switched the names.

Mindset is supposed to be the green one, and the new blue one is supposed to be an homage to the Autobot Hailstorm (from the PS2 game);
