New images of Kabaya's Gum Plus Transformers Series 05 figures with their stickers applied have been posted by syokugan-ohkoku.com. The wave, which is due to release next month, consists of Victory Leo, Inferno, and Hot Rod/Rodimus. According to Autobase Aichi Victoy Leo will be able to combine with Kabaya's previous Star Saber figure from series 1, and there may be bonus pieces to enhance Rodimus.

MUST GET. However, I only want Rodimus and Victory Leo unless this bonus part rumor is true. At the very least, Victory Leo is mine!

Wow, they look so much better than previous things.

It also shows that MP-09 is overly complex after all!

Oh yeah, those two are essential! And perfectly in scale with WSTs, if those are your thing.

I strangely find myself really liking that inferno.
shame about the arm kibble, but at least it transforms acccurately to the voyager. :D

We'll see how the Kabaya kit stacks up against MP09... knowing we'll likely have to pop pieces/arms/legs off to Transform Rodimus.

Hoping they can start to steer away from that trend with the Kabaya kits... and actually have them full-on-transform.

Red Mercury has posted packaging shots of Kabaya Gum series five that confirms each figure in the wave will come with bonus parts to upgrade Hot Rod into Rodimus Prime. The wave consist of Hot Rod, Inferno, and Victory Leo (who can combine with Kabaya's earlier Star Saber to form Victory Saber), and is due to release on the 25th of this month. Take look at the mirrored image below.

I like how Kabaya is trying to force cross sales by having pieces of Rodimus' trailer come with each figure. I am curious as to how Victory Lio will combine with Star Saber as I don't see any visible attachment points on Saber.

All i wanted was victory leo for my star saber (which is still my only kabaya TF) ... but now seems like i have to get all, just so i don't feel that I have extra pieces.

Marketing gimmick by Kabaya to make us catch um' all

why in the hell doesnt hasbro bring these over? Cut back on the useless repaint/slight remolds and give use cool little things like this. Back in the day you couldnt walk past a candy isle/section without seeing stuff like this. You dont even have to do the candy thing just package them like they do the dogtags and sell it in the card section.

Yeah... if hasbro does it it would start costing way more than it needs to. But it would be cool. Then again my country has a ban on gum, so no chances of getting it either way. :-(
