The next cartoon series for our beloved Transformers is revealed as "Transformers: Prime". This cartoon is part of The Hub's project, collaboration between Hasbro Inc. and Disco Communities.

From the latest digital edition of Advertising Age, the logo of the cartoon has been revealed.

The official description of the cartoon is as below:

Transformers: Prime – Show-runners Jeff Kline (“Ghostbusters,” “Dragon Tales”), Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (“Transformers”, “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen”, “Star Trek”) continue the saga “Optimus Prime” and the “Autobots” battle the evil “Decepticons” led by “Megatron”. This fall, viewers will experience the world of “Transformers” like never before.

Clearly they are going for a show that reflects the movies to a large extent. Certainly looks more marketable than Animated.

I like it, simple, elegant and slightly nostalgic.

I hope the opening music will be similar to BW.

So is this a cartoon spin off of the movie, as I remember seeing a cartoony version of movie bumblebbe, in a montage of characters appearing on the hub. Also if this is the next line of transformers, are power core combiners part of it, or are they tied to the movie line?

wasn't his show supposed to be tied the the War for Cybertron game coming out? Everything we see looks like it points to the movie universe.

Like what?

The only stuff we have seen is the logo for the show which harkens back to the original G1 days, and the launch of the Hub logo, that showed Movie Bumblebee.

All that said was "Hey look a Transformer" not "Hey this is the Bumblebee we guarantee will be in the next Transformer animated series.

I'm of the opinion that anything tangentially related to the Bay movies should be required to use the names of Transformers characters in quotation marks.
I do like the retro logo though.

I have a nagging feeling that this is probably going to revolve around either Universe/Classics, TF Generations, or both. Either that, or they just borrowed their logo and modified it. Next thing you know, BAM we''ll be seeing fort toy images of the series =P~

Simple and definitely movie focused.

Like someone said earlier, very marketable, more kids are familiar with the movies. Be great to see a new group of fans.

I'm very excited for this!
