It looks amazing, but why does it still have an autobot symbol, couldn't they remold it into a decepticon symbol, or wasn't nemesis prime a decepticon? :S

other then that it looks amazing, i wonder if the stickers on the com links will be different

While most black Prime releases in the west are Decepticons the tendency in Japan is for them to be Cybertrons. We have seen this previously with Jafcon Convoy, LD Black Fire Convoy, Nucleon Quest Prime (I think that one was called Prime rather than Convoy or Ginrae, could be wrong), THS-02B and the so far unproduced Wondefest Black Convoy, although Car Robots Black Convoy and the Nemesis version of Convoy from Micron Legend buck the trend.

I would have rather seen the symbol remoulded as well, it won't be easy to make look good with just the application of a sticker over the moulded Cybertron symbol.

History lessons on Black Primes in Japan aside, I do have a sneaking suspicion the fact it was easier to leave the Bot symbol and call it Black Optimus is in play.

This piece looks really nice. Depending on the cost and when it's released I may bite. Might make a great Xmas gift.

Nice...it would be nice if they would sell this Prime in Toys r Us or Wal-Mart !!! (I know fat chance as long as people keep swiping them debit cards !!!) But I lke him on the real !!!

I've never bought any MPs before, but between this one and the new Skywarp I think I might have to start adding some to my collection.

Anyhow, back on topic. It looks great but I'll skip it. Got the regular Prime and Magnus already for the same mold. But then again, if they do Shining Magnus count me in.
