MetroCon Vancouver 2011 - New Images of Mastermind Creations Cyclops / Shockwave

Posted by Blurrz Nov 19, 2011 at 6:03pm CST 76,175 views
Much like how Mastermind Creations' Hexatron/Sixshot made it's way to Victoria's Toy Fair last month, the third party company has made their way to Vancouver's Metrocon to showcase their upcoming Cyclops/Shockwave figure. Like Sixshot, it is in the early prototype stage, and eNcliNedesigNs was there to snag a few teaser photos for our viewing pleasure. Check it out!

Shockwave looks deliciously big (and expensive). Pure awesome.

I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't his final size. Lots of prototypes are cast bigger to easier see things you need to fix before casting the finals.

I do recall reading that Mastermind Creations said he would be leader class size

This guy has to be at least $150. He is very badass though!

I really need to see him next to some bigger toys like rotf Leader Optimus. I have all the other leaders since the first movie except 2007 optimus. He looks like he might have to hang out with 25th anniversary prime. Nobody has that weird train optimus in the pics and against a deluxe doesn't quite do it

that "weird train optimus" is their first release, knight morpher commander. and plenty of people own one. me being one, i can assure you that shockwave is definitely looking leader class sized. that makes me very excited as well as scared for the price of such a big 3rd party figure.

Crap...
I was hoping this would suck...
Now not only will i have to buy this monster,
but also a Knight Morpher to match it.

It just looks badass.

I have to agree. This looks excellent.I hope the aesthetics of this figure will work with the classics line too.

With TFC & MT's Devy, MC's Shockwave & Sixshot, as well as MT's the Fallen, my Decepticon army will be massive.

I wish he was smaller, so that I'd have to pay less. :-(

Gundam!!! Another great 3rd party item to add to my list. I think there will be a lot of fans who have been crying out for a leader class SW that HasTak could not deliver so this may suffice. But I'm not too thrilled about the size. I don't want him to tower over WFC Megs and Universe Megs...oh well! :VEHI:

I have that weird train Optimus in the pics. Well at least I did but I sold it to buy the upcoming 2nd release. KMC is an awesome figure. Shockwave should be equally awesome or more so.

I don't have Knight Morpher Commander, but it is an awesome figure.

This shockwave - or will that be Dark Scientist Commander - looks like it will be another impressive offering. It seems that there are 3rd party companies that are interested in producing alternative Transformers Universe Figures and I think this should be explored more often...

..I'm well chuffed at seeing this, but at the same time I would prefer to see a more in scale type-grey so that it shows what we will be getting

I plan on grabbing the second release of KMC as well.

KMC is an awesome figure and I had full intentions of buying the Shockwave fig, but I'm thinking their decision to go leader class will probably price me out...and I'm not very fond of it being so much bigger either. Oh well, I'm not a HOS nut anyhow...I just thought they looked really cool.
