It looks a bit better than the early pics, but it still doesn't look great. I hope that the Leader class Ironhide doesn't have MechTech stuff and is just movie accurate instead. This new gimmick is starting to look really gimmicky. Hopefully it doesn't get in the way too much and just adds on to a figure, unlike what's happening with Ironhide here, losing both his guns for some oversized cannon.

These pictures look a lot better. I think the figure looks really good, minus the ridiculous weapon. I wonder how he sizes up compared to the existing voyager Ironhide molds and if his chest locks in to place?

I like! If he comes with his trademark forearm-mounted cannons along with that BFG accessory looks like I'll finally upgrade from my 2007 Ironhide.

You beat me to it with the BFG comment. I'm thinking that's what they should put on the card back to promote the new line. I know that's what I'll start calling this toy line. It's not DotM anymore, it's Transformers: BFG!

im getting this one!!ipassed on 2 movie ironhide bec im hoping hasbro will do a much better n accurate ironhide. Now bring on ratchet!!!!

I liked the Voyager Movie 2007 Ironhide (P.S. I don't own one) It had the two guns, and they seemed about the same size. Every figure after that (excluding the repaints) have either: 1. one normal gun and one weird gun(Deluxe HFTD Ironhide) or 2. one huge gun and one small gun (Voyager ROTF Ironhide). There's also a figures with none of his guns, but instead some other weapons (Voyager NEST Alliance Recon Ironhide). This one, has only one big gun. So, sorry, I'm unfortunately not into it.

I am always disappointed by movie-verse Ironhide toys. And the reason for it is the same in all cases: the hood doesn't lock together well in robot mode.
If they could make an Ironhide where the two sides of the hood locked together in robot mode, so that they don't all fall to crap when you go to move the toy, I would be very happy to pick up another Ironhide, but until then I don't think I will be buying any more Ironhide figures, since he doesn't change much from the first to the third film.

Your observation might be part of why Hasbro is rolling out this mold. Not saying specifically that the hood will be fixed, but perhaps they decided the AutoMorph Tech mold was getting too old to continue and they needed to improve on it. I found the AM feature on Ironhide in particular to be prone to easily breaking.

I like the mold but I'm not too fond of the BFGs...I wish they could be hidden in alt mode. And I want a red Ironhide.

man as much as i like ironhide i cant buy another movie figure of him. the first movie fig blew goats. and the hunt for the decepticons one where he was chasing blugeon looks good on the box but when you mess with him same problem as the first one. his chest just doesnt know where to go. MEGAPASS

Hey, you can't let the redeco potential of the new deluxe mold go to waste, can you? I bet Hasbro will do a red Ironhide. We got deluxe Rescue Ratchet already.
