iGear has updated it's product page with a handful of images of Mini Masterpiece Optimus Prime. For fans of the creation, we've got some good news when it comes to it's release date. The normal version will be released on March 28, 2010 and April 2010 will be the release date of Black and Clear versions of the figure. Check out the images below.

A lot of people are looking at this as a potential Classics Prime Stand-in.
In terms of scale, check out these two pictures to get a prime to bumblebee ratio
Seems classics prime will come up to about the Elbow of Mini masterpiece prime, maybe a hair shorter. Maybe a hair taller eye level than City Commander

If you're referring to the different looking heads in the first two pictures, I believe it's because there are two head sculpts available for the figure. The first picture shows a more anime/manga version of the head, I think. Transformers Visualworks shows at least one depiction of OP/Convoy with the elongated and angled ear/antenna parts of the helmet.
The figure looks very good for a KO of MP OP. I'm very curious as to how the figure holds up once it is released. The scale looks great, especially beside Alternity Bumble.

Sure am! Classics Prime is just too futuristic/un-earthy looking (although the current IDW ongoing comics really compliment him). Somehow his robot mode is significantly taller with a near identical vehicle mode size. I don't mind him being taller, it'll give him more presence, and he should still be able to use the G3 trailer. I'm really looking forward to this figure! Still though, it all hinges on the quality.
