New Galleries: Masterpiece MP-24 Star Saber

Did you break something? I have discovered an issue with the panel on his back and posted a warning in the MP-24 thread.

buy three. one to display as starsaber, one to display as saber and one to display in vehicle mode.

A second run of Star Saber, even though he still appears to be in stock at most places. But flaw fixing? Doubt that'll happen.

Other than the one backpack issue (which is pretty minor IMO) I have no issues. It's a damn solid figure and I haven't heard many complaints. Even the best figures out there have some kind of flaw.

Loved seeing pics of him with Wheeljack as a nice nod to the episodes Wheeljack appeared in.

Though, I'm a little saddened to see no pics of him in his super mode without the Star Saber helmet on, as he would occasionally walk around in the show in his super mode with his Saber head exposed like so:

It looks ridiculous because the head is so tiny on Saber.

Being a stupid human who just can't get no satisfaction, wish Tomy will also release a Jean/Daigoro figure or Illumina2 or Jean and Illumina. This figure is so near anime accurate that it screams for a "Cub" to complement "Lonewolf".

The battle up feature looks better in the original version

Nope. The clearance between the original Victory Leo parts are not compatible with the MP Star Saber

Suddenly, a new gallery update appears! Today's Masterpiece subject hails from the first series after Generation One, Generation 2: Bumblebee! While not as shiny and blinded out as his precursor was, this figure fits right in for the G2 enthusiast along with Masterpiece G2 Sideswipe. In place of a Witwicky in an Exosuit, he instead comes with a jet pack accessory. If you're still in the fence on this guy, why not take the opportunity to take a look through our gallery?

I had two packages from them ... one shipped out by Monday last week. The other shipped out yesterday. Hopefully this is just a little blip. I liked it a lot better when something would arrive at HLJ Thursday, ship Friday and arrive at my house on Monday.
