Just the hands could have been hidden, and the legs given a bit more articulation. All would have been well.

Yeaaahhh, I so can't wait for this figure to come out. I love the colors and the mold. Not only that, but he's not price so badly for an exclusive figure!

He looks like Skywarp, they might as well create a seeker head and make a Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp set.

He's actually Skywarp and Jetfire's baby. Or at least that's the fan fic that I'm writing for him, or her. Still haven't decided which, but I think if SW and JF had a baby together it would probably be a girl. IDK.

factor in shipping and its the same price
+ with BBTS you dont' have to worry about your CC getting ripped off
idk. I love me sum jetfires, but $90 is a bit pricey for this...
thats the thing, I love most all of the japanese Henkai figures, but they are tooo pricey...
if this was like $30?! grab it in a heart beat!

I finally figured out what this is based on! The one scene in the episode rhino dvd release of 'Fire on the Mountain' where skyfire was colored like skywarp? Maybe?

How exactly? Starscream was red and gray with some black highlights. This guy is all black with purple highlights.
The only similarity here is that they are both planes, and o.k they have a thruster pack.
But Starscream's wasn't really removable. Though you could remove the individual launchers, but he couldn't really hold them any way in Robot mode.

Is it me or have the coulours been altered since previous test shots. I like it alot more now, it's more or less Skywarp. Not sure about the green cockpit though. And isn't that the classics version and not the henkei version of the mold. The classics version has a full length translucent cockpit where the Henkei has a single seater cockpit [thats the best way I can describe it] if you look at the chest there should only be 1 window not 2 the othe rshould be covered up in black with the insignia on it.

It's the same mold for both Henkei and Classics. Takara just cheated by using more paint on the canopy to make it look smaller, and made the black airbrake of all things blue to make it a "second cockpit". The chrome is what really makes the difference.

Robot Kingdom has it for $35, and figure $25-$30 for shipping to the US. That's still significantly cheaper than BBTS.

Sorry Blurrz but "hush hush" using the name Jetfire, for this repainted mold, i only see him as Dark Skyfire!
