New Images of Toys'R'Us Reissue Perceptor

New Images of Toy'R'Us Universe Reissue Perceptor have showed up. Thanks to Genzhao of KOtoys, we get a look at the figure which will be released very shortly. Perceptor is to be followed by another Toys'R'Us reissue, this time being the Insecticons; Shrapnel, Bombshell, and Kickback. GenZhao's main complaint about the figure is that it's missile does not fire, as the spring has been gutted out. This is very similar to the rest of the other Reissue figures.

And on topic, I really don't know what to say about Perceptor. Like there's a zillion other things I'd like to see, maybe a Blaster, or a Springer, or a Blurr, or a Kup.. .or an anything else other than Perceptor...

you mean that Toys R US is actually going to have chrome in this release instead of toy gray?? whoa.. :shock:

C'mon, give Perceptor his respect, who else can take apart Devastator with one shot? :lol: :P

Soundwave got his chrome...slightly less chrome than he's supposed to have, but still chrome! :mrgreen:

I guess Perceptor's looking great, because I skeptically went "that's the Reissue? Kinda looks like G1..." but then I realized the stickers look way more chromed than the original. That's about the only thing I don't like about the reissues sometimes, the stickers are different. But I'm certainly excited for this release and will be picking it up!

Yikes. I still want it, but between the poor picture quality and that hideous purple backdrop, those pictures don't do the figure any justice at all. Those look like the pictures people take when they're auctioning off old junk from their attic on eBay. "I found this robot toy in the attic. Don't know what it is, but it's in good shape."
