Marky Mark and the Uptown bunch are currently on location in Chicago, IL. Seibertron.com contributor commander_ruckus grabbed a few pictures of the Uptown area being used for filming a Transformers 4 scene that takes place in Texas. A crazy looking dual machine gun vehicle/device/apparatus was spotted on the set of Transformers 4 yesterday in Chicago. This vehicle was on the back end of a semi-truck's long trailer bed going back and forth on Lower Wacker Dr. Apparently Mark Wahlberg and other actors were interacting with this vehicle/device/apparatus while it was being filmed. No other details or specifics about the scene were obtained. I'm assuming that the semi-truck and trailer will be removed with CGI so you'll just end up seeing this dual machine gun vehicle moving down the street for a scene in the movie. We have a brief video of the vehicle being filmed below as well as some pictures. Stay tuned for more TF4 news as it becomes available!

The best part about this is that I saw this yesterday as I was browsing Imgur for my daily hilarity, and the caption jokingly said it belonged to Optimus Prime.

That big weapon looks awesome. It reminds me of onefof those advanced new military weapons called the hydra, I think. The one that was in that movie Olympus fallen where it was computer senser controlled shooting down them helicopters with non-stop firing of two 50's and grenade launchers. I'm sure this Transformers modified looking hydra weapons systems is going to do some damage in the upcoming movie.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that this is a prop "cockpit" section (or turret section, whatever) of a much larger cybertronian vehicle, which would be added in with CGI later

I'd say that's a mighty sturdy limb. I'm also going out on a limb to say that I'll bet it blows up.

My guess... GALVATRON... yeah, Hugo Weaving won't be the voice but Frank Welker is on the project so he could voice him. Or get Leonard Nimoy back for another go. He was good in the movie as Galvatron. Didn't care for Sentinel Prime.

I am going to go out on a limb too and say that it is a cockpit of one of the Dinobots 
,that a human is going to ride inside of . Yes I agree it will be blown up at some point ,and the Dinobot gets destroyed ,but the human lives . Can't wait to find out .

Nicola Peltz' fan page on Twitter has shared with the public images of Nicola Peltz, Mark Wahlberg, and Jack Reynor interacting with the mysterious, gatling-gun armed prop on-set in Chicago that we brought you exclusive images of yesterday, which appears to confirm that is indeed a vehicle of sorts. What could this equipment be? Cybertronian technology suited for human needs? A part of a Cybertronian? Speculate away in the Energon Pub forums!
