New pictures of Megadrive Megatron and Playstation Optimus Prime

These look awesome, the details are just crazy cool.

They should've did this with Soundwave and Blaster, and then made individual games their cassette agents.

Problem is, blaster and Soundwave are recognizable, they're not the faces of the brand. Prime and Megatron are.

But they may make a blaster vs Soundwave set down the line, maybe out of the gamegear and gameboy.

It's interesting (to me anyway) that Prime's the very first PSX model, only released in Japan, with an S-video port built in.

this is what we have so far:
Genesis = Megatron
PlayStation = Optimus Prime


what i am wondering is what characters would be used for these consoles (and handhelds)
N64= ???
SNES / super Famicom = ???
HMM who would be the SNES : Starscream possibly due to coloration
NES/ Famicom=???
Game Boy family ( original, Pocket, color , advance, Advance SP, Micro, NDS, NDs lite)= ??? ( though who ever it is will have the best alternate mode)

seriously. i thought it was neat. more interesting than the primes that turn into hats or shoes. but not for 120 bucks! jeezus not even for 60 bucks! whos buyin this?

Ehm, not that I'm buying any of this, but would it not have been better to have Shockwave incarnated in this?

The cable to his armcanon would have made more sense IMHO.

its definitely a retarded idea but i love that they actually included the A/V outlets on there. guess they wanted to be acurate!! lol

The gray plastic color of OPSX vs the black of Megatrondrive really hurts the alt mode, as you can see so much better all the "cracks" where parts line up. Still hella cool, tho.
