Hisashi Yuki is very excited about the upcoming Unite Warriors UW 03 Defensor / Guardian release. He posted a couple of fun pictures of Groove, Steetwise and UW Prowl who we haven't seen as much. Enjoy the pics of the cop trio below which look like the best ever episode of Chips.

Looking at Prowl and Streetwise, I really wonder why they didn't remold the back of the police car to have back windows, then when they transformed, leave the waist unturned so the window sides would be front. They would've both looked more accurate that way.

Knowing this is the only time that this configuration will happen without spending ridiculous amounts of money makes me deeply sad.

*smashes keyboard* I know someone out there will buy 4 of these sets just to get these configurations. :BANG_HEAD:

Groove does look pretty decent but makes Streetwise and Prowl look crappy (though you can see why Hasbro chose to do a Legends Groove instead cos that is a big motorcycle). Prowl still just looks a bit desperately trying to use that mold especially with that chest paint.

That circle with the triangle on First Aid's arm. What is that for? I wanna say I saw that in the comic, but I cannot find it's meaning to save my life.

It's missing a 5th groove as the chestplate. Alternity groove and his posse of groove auto-avatars. Oh and hotspot i guess.

Or it's Groove using the GT System (plus Hot Spot).

In addition to the police squad robots from the Takara Tomy Unite Warriors line, Hisashi Yuki has posted on Twitter some fun combinations of the upcoming Guardia (Defensor) release in the same line - using the four limbs in as matching sets! Because who doesn't need four Blades on one torso? Check them out below.

It pains me that these combinations would cost $500 or more for the average consumer.
