Courtesy of the Chinese toy forum ACToys we have new images of Transformers DOTM Leader Class Ironhide. The images show Ironhide posed with his fellow Leader Class figures Bumblebee and Sentinel Prime in both modes. We also get a closer look at his weapon storage. The images have been mirrored below.

Well, I think the best possible "scale-match" for Leader Ironhide is with the Human Alliance sub-line.
Anyway, it is a relief to see that Sentinel is taller than Leader BB.

However, it would be nicer if Leader Ironhide had bigger weapons (like ROTF Voyager Ironhide).
Maybe he will get bigger weapons in his Movie Masterpiece incarnation, who knows ...

Does anyone know if DOTM Leader BB is smaller than ROTF Battle-Ops BB ?

Groovy, Ironhide comes with the Sword Of Omens!

These photos only scream out to me the reasons why I didn't want to get this figure - bad scale, inaccurate and tiny weapons, and a big-nosed face. If Voyager Ironhide doesn't have pegs for his old Voyager weapons, I may be sticking with my 2007 'Hide once more.

ah yes, when it comes to a war of shape shifting alien robots, theres nothing more unbelievable then a camero that turns in to a robot, being roughly the same size as a pick up truck that turns in to a robot. its insanity

Why are so many people talking about scale. They're to scale, I see giant yellow Camaros the size of semi trucks all the time don't yous? ;) I mean really people, who of you really want a leader class Megatron, Blackout, Soundwave or Shockwave etc... They just wouldn't look right next to a giant Camaro, so they have to be tons smaller to look real or fit in...let's be realistic people

I don't know what the thing in his stomach is but I like the other gimmicks. I'm not sure about the overall looks, I'll have to wait until I see better pics. Of course, all that powder blue will have to be covered.

True, it's a shame I put away all my HA stuff, probably never to be displayed again.

With the general move to smaller scales, I tucked most of the larger movie stuff (in fact, a lot of the movie stuff in general) into storage.

Looks nice, but I have no use for a Leader Ironhide in my collection. Voyager mold in red, please.

Part of me says "YES!" to Leader Class Ironhide, seeing as he'd be bigger than Voyager Ratchet, for once.
But, I want to know if he's the same size as ROTF Leader Optimus. If he is, that sucks.
That means I'll have to stick with the new Voyager Class Ironhide, who kicks ass.

I really want the Leader, but if he's completely out of scale, then no. Dang.

I'd like to see a comparison with past Leader Class figures, just to get a sense of size.

Actually I was more referring to the vehicle modes. And yes, it is nice if toys in a certain class relate to each other in a somewhat movie/cartoon accurate manner since it makes them a much nicer display.

I understand that mold sizes/plastic allowances etc determine how larger or small a respective figure is in a toy class, however while Ironhide and BB are almost accurate in size (maybe BB is a little too large but not much) Sentinel Prime should dwarf Ironhide in vehicle mode instead of the other way around.

Ironhide looks amazing and I'll definitely be getting him! I'll probably get a "Masterpiece" as well to go with my Premium Leader Megatron and Buster Optimus/Jetfire two pack and call them all "Premium" Leaders. I still need to get a MPM Starscream too and the reissues of Masterpiece Prime and Megatron... Ugh that's going to be really expensive

Size makes no difference to me, nor does scale. THe only lines that scale really meant anything at all were Alternators/Binaltech and Alternity, and that was model scale. SEriously though, if you want scale issues just look at the G1 Dinobots- both in cartoon and toy. A brontosaur smaller than a T-Rex? No way...Sludge would be three times the size of Grimlock if scale were an issue. But, since it never has been, why bother with it? Le the third-party ripoff artists deal with the scale question (GIANT (cost) DEVASTATOR)...

He's really out of scale, but he looks really cool. It will be hard not to get this one.

I still might shell out on the original voyager first for scale and color reasons.

I use the HAs and ROTF Leader Prime for my movie collection, just because the size classes seem appropriate for the design complexity and rough robot mode scale.

Voyager Ironhide is way too short, and I suspect these new Leaders are closer to Ultra class in size. Now if only Hasbro would make a Leader Ratchet to finish off the Autobot cast!
