Our friends at the Hub just sent over another Transformers Rescue Bots promotional image, they will be airing a special sneak peek at the new cartoon aimed at younger fans on Saturday, December 17, from 12 – 1 p.m. ET. Below we see the show's Autobots :

  • Heatwave voiced by Steve Blum
  • Chase voiced by D.C. Douglas
  • Boulder voiced by Imari Williams
  • Blades voiced by Parvesh Cheena

Wow, chase is my favorite in terms of looks. Surprising, since I hate his toy and I thought this would rival animated in terms of toys for some reason. Eh, not a big deal. More and more excited for it every day! :D

Wonder why they didn't add a fembot. Shame... Always good to have Transformers become popular with both genders.

Oh ya, and why is Boulder going all hulk-like and pounding the ground in image one? Arn't they supposed to be helpful?

Haven't changed my mind about watching it. I want to give it a fair chance. Plus, the voice cast chosen for this show is just EPIC! :D

In fact, in preparation for it, I'm gonna re-watch all four episodes of the other Playskool Transformers cartoon, Go-Bots, so as to get used to the atmosphere that this show will likely provide.

Is it just me, or do the faces on these look like the faces of the Gobots from the Challenge of the Gobots cartoon? Blades is very Leader-1 looking.

Robot dinosaurs. Flippin' ROBOT DINOSAURS! I was going to pass on this series and maybe chuckle at the inevitable signatures/avatars based on it, but it's got GODDAMN ROBOT DINOSAURS in it which means I must watch it.
