Last time we heard anything about the officially Hasbro licensed Hero Cross Hybrid Metal Figuration Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime, the Generations lines hadn't even changed its packaging yet! And still, here the figure finally is, in a new video review from fellow Seibertronian Transformermegazord (aka Benscollectables), showing off the superdeformed non-transforming but packing plenty of accessories little figure - check it out.

The new super deformed figure from Herocross' Hybrid Metal line has been revealed and it is Optimus Prime from the Age of Extinction film. They had made a previous Prime figure which used the look of the initial Transformers movie trilogy.
Herocross' facebook page has released several images of this new figure, titled Hybrid Metal 21 Optimus Prime, which have been mirrored below.

I just dont get why so many bobble head type figures exist ? Who buys these ? Why buy these ? What exactly is the target audience ?

This is a Hong Kong company so maybe it works for the asian market.
