Repaints galore for the Transformers Movie line in 2011. Hunt for the Decepticons has two new Deluxe repaints among their ranks. Mindset is a redeco and remold of Deluxe Hailstorm. His new head homages a Transformers Marvel Comic character of the same name. Fallback is a repaint of Deluxe Brawn. The paint job homages Generation One Outback. Check out the images below!

I haven't found Brawn yet, but I definitely prefer his scheme to Fallback's, but I guess if I never find Brawn I may pick this guy up since the mold looks pretty good overall. Mindset on the other hand looks pretty cool. I haven't seen Hailstorm yet either, and though I really like the red and green combo on Hailstorm, I really like the overall solid look of Mindset's colout scheme. I also like how he doesn't have the very whitish gray parts that plague Hailstorm a bit. It's a close call, but I think I have to go with Mindset as the better looking figure, mostly because of the nice solid and consistent colour scheme.

Hmm, I don't know about Mindset there, the new head looks kinda blah, along with a bit to monochromatic-ness.

I actually quite like the head, and monochromatic look is actually a plus in my mind in this case. It just seems to work really well with the mold. I do hope the colour of the hands aren't too much brighter than the rest of the dark gray of the figure as it appears in these pics.

I like the fact that Mindset's missiles aren't red like Hailstorm's are.

Anyone else hoping that some third party company like Head Robots or something will make a new head for Brawn and Fall back for a neo G1 feel?

This has been a good day for TF Previews.

I will be getting both with no hesitation. It's a shame though that Mindset will be an Autobot and not a Decepticon. They could've given him the G2 'con logo as homage

Yeah, when you see both their pics arranged like that, it looks like Armada Demolishor on top of Energon Demolishor. Weird.

And while love homages and new head sculpts...this Mindset's head doesn't really look any more like Cybertronian Mindset's noggin.

Oh who am I kidding, I love the G2 comics so much that I'll buy even the slightest homage...except now I may actually pass on Hailstorm in favor of this guy and slap some G2 Con stickers on him. Hell, half the Bayniverse toys and all the Vehicons I buy are for the purpose of trying to dye/paint them white and green to build up the Cybertronian legions. And now we're getting official stabs at some of their likenesses?! Hasbro, please keep going until Generations expands to Voyager class, and give us a proper Jhiaxus!

So it's an homage to G2 Mindset that doesn't share his color scheme and has a generic looking movieverse head that isn't really reminiscent of G2 mindset as far as I can tell...

This is off-putting. I like the mold in general, and like Hailstorm's head, but on the other hand the random white splotches over Hailstorm's green camo make him look like he was an unfortunate victim of Swoop's indigestion, and his red missiles are a little kiddish.

Fallback is meh - I mean, it's a good mold except for the back kibble, but already having the original, seeing so many other nice products in the line up, and having finite funds/space, Fallback doesn't really register on the radar.

Maybe if I had gotten Firetrap in lieu of the official movie Brawn...

Mindset's an instant purchase for me now. I haven't found Hailstorm yet, but I really dig the mold. So the more retools and repaints they make the better.

Hmm. Mindset looks decent, but both of these are probably passes for me, since the characters do nothing for me.

I just got Hailstorm today, he's actually fairly neat. Unusual transformation, and he doesn't look -too- 'shredded metal' like because of his short bulk.

Don't know if it's enough for a new head to get Mindset. We'll see how he looks in living plastic.

I knew they'd recolor Brawn as Outback/Fallback. I like the mold but probably not enough to get two versions of it.

Since Brawn is like Red Rampage or EVAC, (Seemingly nonexistent) I'm quite looking forward to Outback. Although on the other figure, I like Hailstorm more.
