I got Sci-Fi Revoltech Optimus. It was my first Revoltech, and I was disappointed. The rubbery quality of the plastic and the weight of the figure make it very difficult to really make cool poses. No matter what I do, he tends to sag or droop or lean. He looks better in the package, so that's where I keep him.

Man, that sure is a lot of detail! Is it me, or does he have a lot going on.... down there?

from being one of the original revoltech fans who had to have every one, any exclusive; i havent been into them lately especially the bay-formers... they just look frigile by concept with gears that just fall out from the slightest punch (dont they have a function or are they just kibble?) but especially as a revoltech whos appeal for me was affordable classic and modern robot toys i could play with and fight, bumblebee, like movie optimus looks unstable, but i have been surprised before by figures i thought had that flaw... pass

The figure looks nice enough with all the sculpted and painted details, but then they give him these pop-out shoulder cannons. They obviously couldn't do the same trick with his mask and cannon and keep them accurate.
But it just reminds me how much cooler those gimmicks are on a transformable figure. Especially Voyager and Leader class movie designs have equally impressive detailing and massive amounts of moving parts. Since the transforming toys need those separate parts to actually TF, they end up looking more detailed than a solid figure with some articulation. The large bodyparts on these figurines just end up looking soft and squishy compared to the sharply detailed toys which go for a lot cheaper.

I'm buying this.
I've always wanted a super screen-accurate movieverse Bee to pose with my Jetwing OP, and here he is. IMO, he's got the best and most accurate looking face sculpt among all the BB figs I own so far, including the 2007, ROTF preview and Battle Blades deluxes, and even the DMK and HA BB's.
Best thing is, he's all prettied up, saving me the trouble of painting him. Paint job like that would cost a bomb if you sent your regular deluxe to a customizer.
Cannon looks awesome.
Not sure what's going on with those piston things on his hips, though.

if it shelf warms enough and goes on sale, maybe I'll get it. Though I really hope they do a villain, give optimus and bee some one to fight.

Wait, now I know why they looked weird. The CG render shows them tucked under the side panels, but they're outside and freely moving in the fig. No problem. I'll just tuck them behind the side panels when posing Bee.

yeah, they're only out in a few of the photos. i think they're meant to show that they're articulated and that he's super articulated. but you should be good. he looks fantastic.

If they had the intent to move out towards other characters like Jazz, Sideswipe, Ironhide and perhaps even Decepticons, I'd be interested but... nah.
It's like how DMK stopped after these two, I'm sure Revoltech will do the same.

This may be the 2nd TF movie mold, but it's still the 6th TF mold revoltech has done.
They seem to do them in pairs, and have been stop and go with them. I hope they squeeze in a bad guy before they take their break on making more. Even if it's just a nemesis convoy.

I have Revoltech Optimus
,and I like him .Has a few flaws ,already noted by the other comments ,but if you like the Live Action Movies ,and I mean really LOVE
them ,like I do, then go for it!! .I do tend to agree with the comments about the Transforming ones though ,as I got Battle Blade Optimus
the same time I got the Revoltech ,and have at least played with BB Prime
more .But Revoltech Prime
has better weapons
.

So from the pictures, I assume the doors are articulated?

Three fantastic looking Transformers figures were on display at the Miyazaki Model Show Spring 2012. These include Revoltech's Movieverse Bumblebee and CM Corp's Ginrai and Minerva! Check out the pics below or click here to view these and many other non-Transformers figures on display including Evangelion, Gundam and more.

I'd like to know...how big is this guy? Compared to other normal TF's and Rovoltech prime?
