I would put the odds of Hasbro making this figure for the West at about one-in-a-million. It wouldn't make much business sense.

I agree. IDW would have to make Star Saber a major villain in the next year to start showing interest in a Western release.

Even if MP Star Saber turns out to be an awesome piece, the relative inability to play with it wold hurt a US release. After all, regular Transformers fans (kids who watch Prime, teens and adult who focus on the IDW comics, and moviegoers) most likely are not a strong enough market for a US masterpiece release.

I doubt they will. If anything, this is their segue into milking collectors for a new Victory Leo. Although, TakTom has been known to throw curveballs in the past. We might just see Star Saber and nothing more. At this point, no one knows. Once we see the final product, we'll know if there's any connection point system or if it's just one solid, single piece.

And even if it would connect to Victory Leo, where are people going to find one now? It'll just get the KO makers firing up their molds and the fans will be polarized all over again. It'll be a mess.

If TakTom's smart, they'll just make him as a one off kinda deal and be done.

i like this as this will give people like me who don't have a star saber in their collection one to fill in that spot -seriously this is the kind of thing they need to do we have a million megatrons and optimus prime figure and characters that don't have that many should be ones that we demand
