ROTF Leader-Class Jetfire Revealed!

So to point out that this character is old, they have given him a cane... interesting.

He's supposed to an old and haggard cybertronian, hence the cane.

I know he's supposed to be old, but so are G1 Kup and animated Ratchet, and they don't have canes or walkers. What are they going to do for a sequel, give him a colostomy bag?

Does the first pic look fake to anyone else? Like they just photoshopped the pic on the back to look like it's the figure in the box?

I thought it looked odd in the huge pics from the source site...I think you're right.

but he has facial hair that's suppose to look like a beard...
To show his old age?????

I really dig that bot mode though...

It looks like this fig in alt mode will be good in proportions to universe Silverbolt. It also looks like the alt mode is going to have a lot of bot kibble on the bottom and/or like the first movie's Starscream alt.

Why would he need a cane? If he is a robot and mechanical in nature can't they simply replace whatever part is worn out? I'm loosing faith in autobot medics. The earlier report about a geriatric robot with nuts and bolts falling as he walks seem to be true ... ridiculous.

As far as the toy goes, I see the robot mode has the obligatory top heavy, chicken leg Starscream look. The Alt mode reminds me of Sky Lynx, an aircraft on top and lots of Junk below. I'm a fan of the Sr-71, but this figure will not grace my curio

I will be severely disappointed if he is not voiced by Hugh Laurie.

I immediately spotted the fakeness in the pic from the fron, but He looks WAY better than his other toys. I'm pleased. Can't wait to see the combined mode.
