Pokemon has a fanbase that's probably 50x larger in Japan than Transformers. A prolonged TFA is likely.. maybe Season 4 or something like that, but not something that lasts that long.
The market runs differently in Japan. The Japanese are happy to cater to a particular age group and make little or no effort to retain fans as they grow older. As such, pokemon can afford to stay predictible as it is targeted at 2-6 year olds many of whom are new to the show and need a good jumping on point.Chaoslock wrote:Blurrz wrote:originaldave77 wrote:If they can churn out over a decade of Pokemon...why not TF:A?

But people are watching the Pokemon anime? The games are awesome (they have one of the best rpg systems) but the show is the most repetative thing I've ever seen (the first seasons were good, but since then, every episode consists of Team Rocket trying to steal the actual pokemon and/or Pikachu, and fail)

Also, that Alternity figure has an alt mode that Jalopnik regularly deems as one of the ugliest of all time. I just can't remember the car's name...
