SDCC Exclusive Transformers / GI Joe Shockwave HISS Tank Crossover Will Include G1 Laser Barrel Accessory

Cool, I guess. But unless it transforms, I can't love it. I like it (A little) Like I liked the Starscream one. The problem here is a rather simple one. The Transformer/G-I Joe universe EXISTS. There are Comics to prove it. The Starwars/Transformers Universe, however, holds absolutely NOTHING in or on itself Comic-wise or other. There isn't even a story behind it. They arn't even Cybertronian. It's just SW Tech manipulated by the force IIRC. The Marvel/TF Universe Definately Exists. I have a copy of "The Avengers meet the Transformers" And I love it. At the end, they even aquire some Cybertronian tech. What with Dr. Doom being involved and him being the main Bad guy in the Marvel Crossover line, I can put 2 and 2 together. They built all those suites after the TFs left. Makes sense. On to GI Joe. Not only do the Universes collide, but the TFs themselves TRANSFORM into Joe and Cobra Vehicles! So why can't we get a transforming cobra Starscream with a Cobra Commander Pilot? A Tank Megatron Manned by Destro? An Ironhide driven by Duke? These things are VERY possible, Could make a crapload of money, and I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't done it yet! This is why I like the HA Basics so much...It fills the void...

I agree, Beastprowl. With the Human Alliance toy line we know it can work, although those figures are notably smaller than G.I. Joe figures, so maybe its a cost thing (bigger Joes means bigger TFs means more cost). It is a line both Joe and Transformer fans have been antisipating for about 20 years now. Funny its taken this long, really.

For my 40th birthday, the wife's letting me go to SDCC so I'll probably pick this up just because...

Would rather have the SS crossover from last year but seeing the SW cannon clearly helps elevate the "want this" factor.

I might, if I have a chance. I do love Shockers, and have quite the collection of 25th figures. We'll see.

i'll buy it but only for my Cobra team and just like a guy posted earlier: "unless it transforms, i won't love it."

JoeDeclassified.com has managed to get their hands on Decepticon deco Destro and Constructicon deco B.A.T. from this year's SDCC Hasbro Exclusive Transformers/G.I.Joe crossover set.
