Well that's pretty awesome but I have to admit that I'm a little bummed that we are getting that instead of Goldbug. There's no way that they'll do two "gold" Bumblebees. Now, had this been vac metallized gold chrome, that'd be different enough to warrant just a gold painted Goldbug.

Buy a second, don't flip over the chest to show the G2 logo but add a G1 logo instead to the other side, and display them with different faces. Now you have a Goldbug too

But Goldbug has a blue head. Hence my earlier speculation wondering how long it'll take some third party company to announce a new head for this guy.

No way! I'd like to have a proper Goldbug head. His face shield is one of the most unique (and fun to draw) Transformers faces out there!

If I didn't already spend 80$ on the g1 version this would be bought. I'll hold out for the possibility of goldbug/cliffjumper later down the line, probably as seperately numbered releases (though I would hope cliffjumper would be a significant retool into a squashed up porsche turbo along with a new head.)

Excellent. I prefer the toy faces for the minibots and if that jet-pack doesn't fit Sideswipe, I'll find a way.
