Takara Tomy Transformers Adventure TAV-01 Bumblebee In Hand

TFyuki strikes again! Aboard his twitter train are some new shots of Transformers Adventure TAV-01 Bumblebee in and out of package. Not only do we get to see him in both his car and bot mode, but also hanging out with (we can only assume at this point) Yuki's best friend MP-24 Starsaber. This TAV figure is the same Warrior Class Bumblebee we recently started seeing on shelves from the new Robots In Disguise line, only with a few additional paint applications. Nice Blades! If they combined would they form Windsaber or Starblazer? Or your new name Saberblaze.

I wonder how much the Japanese RiD deluxes will go for, shipping included? The Hasbro ones are now 20$CAN+tx locally. It's a bit frustrating to pay that much for a half-painted figure.

It appears theres no stopping TFyuki, who follows up with yesterdays reveal with some more Transformers Adventure Figures! Coming at us today is TAV-03 StrongArm, and TED-03 Sideswipe. And if that weren't enough, thanks to retailer Mandarake we also have shots of TED-01 Bumblebee and TED-02 Grimlock. The Takara Tomy TED (Transformers Easy Dynamic) line is better known stateside as 1-Step changers from the new Robots in Disguise cartoon, premiering this Saturday in the States on Cartoon Network. That's a lot of Strongarm right there. Looks awesome too, makes me wish the takara version wasn't so expensive.

I jest, but in all sincerity, Star Saber is an awesome figure. He should be proud of it. I just think he might be a tad overboard with the (self)promotion. >:oP

I am still really curious as to the other decos that have yet to be revealed. Like Drift, the insecticons, lockdown and the mysterious steeljaw redeco that comes in a two pack with strongarm. Dont know what's taking so long to show them, they are due out in june (3 months).

For some reason every time I look at this, those awkward screencaps from way back when flash in my mind.

TFyuki's never ending Twitter feed brings us some more Transformers Adventure figures. For today's sampling we get to see TAV-02 Grimlock and TAV-05 Fixit, but MP-24 Starsaber was strangely absent. Don't be confused by Takara Tomy's TAV designation for Fixit though. Hasbro's Fixit is actually from the 1-Step line while Grimlock is a Warrior Class figure.
