If you mean if Hasbro is releasing Frenzy and friends with Soundwave, it's a yes. We haven't seen how their decos differ from the Takara releases.
Let the FIRRIB debate begin!
I like how his weapons store in his pile-drivers. That's a nice-looking Ravage, but seeing the comparison with his Universe toy, I'm a little shocked by how much smaller he is.

I have to say, I'm not sure what to think of MP Ravage just yet....
Between USB, classics, and Masterpiece, there seems to be something off about all of them?
Maybe it is the head sculpts? I almost like BTS Nightfangs the best?

Yeah, I was hoping MP Ravage was gonna be spot on but turns out...not so much. He's not bad at all tho and I'll definitely be more than happy to add him to the collection. Funny, but I seem to like G1 Ravage best.

Already done: In the thread for the first announcement last weekend I suggested Hasbro take the opportunity of having them both in the same box to have the packaging and instructions consistently refer to the two collectively, the main thing I miss their Dreamwave story appearances.
As for differing decos, hope they're all the same as Takara's, but I for one would be okay with them recoloring Soundwave for accuracy to his original toy like MP Hot Rodimus, with a yellow optic band. Hell, follow up with a purple variant with Cassettes repainted into the Cobalt Sentries, Enemy, and all the background cassettes from MTMTE.
Actually, I'd seriously like to see color variants with Acid Storm: Many want the Universe camo deco, but I'd like a retina-scorching show-accurate deco, so why not put both in the same cases? That way everyone gets their pick, and completists who get both boost sales! Yes, I know there's probably some reason that's not a practical production plan. but now that we've known about Metroplex for a week, anything seems possible! Hasbro's likely moved on, but until they release a show-accurate Acid-storm, they're still technically pwned by CHMS in 1/6 of the visible-Seeker-spectrum. Just sayin'.

Judging by the comparison pics, the cassettes scale great with classics. And if the Hasbro release includes all five, Ill be getting it. And the best part is that the whole fandom bought the Takara version in fear Hasbro wouldnt make one. That means it shouldnt be hard to get when it comes out.

No disrespect to your post, X, but the same people that purchased the Takara version would have had an inkling that Hasbro would be releasing one ( i would like a Hasbro version and i have the TT) Those who haven't purchased the Takara version, along with the scalpers etc will be on TRU's case. Finding one may be slightly more difficult that you think.

well, after being far too light on mp10 and a bit too heavy on mp11T, I think ToysRUs should be able to get it right this time. One good thing about them having exclusive distribution is that Toys R Us can keep it at full price for a longer period of time, so it makes buying a couple thousand extra units a lot less worrisome than if they had WalMart undercutting them 2 months later.

And in places like the Malaysian TRU branch, there's no way to even get a Hasbro version of MP toys because they don't even bother bringing them in. It's either Takara or nothing at all.

Do Ravage's thrusters fold up into his transformation like MP Laserbeak or do they detach and store elsewhere like Rumble's weapons? If he has a place to store them, I suspect that's where all his bulk has gone to, and why he looks so lanky. Aside from his skinny legs, he does look like a scary robotic cat.

Regardless whether Hasbro decides to release this, I'm Tomy all the way (aside from the 6 month plus delay)
As for the availability? Don't get your hopes up Rated X. It's still more like luck if and when a shipment shows up in TRU.

Thanks, Mindmaster. You are the king of images!
Ravage definately looks better with the group than alone. I think it's kinda nifty that they scaled him with the classics, in a way.
Now if only we had a deluxe class neo-G1 Soundwave figure (other than Sonicron).
