Fellow Seibertron.com member Sabrblade has kept an eye on the Takara Tomy Transformers/ Evangelion crossover Masterpiece Convoy, that we've reported on already, and we have more news about availability, prices (currently 25000 yen/250$ approx) and the fiction behind the concept! The website for the product has been updated to show off the figure, its features and accessories including a full 360° rotation image, in both robot and vehicle mode. Do we know if this will be available anywhere else besides TakaraTomy Mall?

Also, it says preorders start June 12th @ 1:00pm. What time zone, and what does that mean for the East Coast? :-?

That'd be Japanese time zone. Which I believe is 13 hours ahead of the East Coast.

I quite agree that often the obscure can be an enjoyable thing. This is, alas, not one of these times.

Actually, I believe more of the techs wear that jacket during the Operation Yashima scenes. I think the End of Eva movies may show a few dead ones in the hallways. But yeah, I referenced the 1.11 movie for the jacket.

Have you seen any pic of Masterpiece Bumblebee? His arms hardly have any altmode parts on them. And both the Bumblebee in this pic and the MP have the exact same circle on their hands as seen below:
