oh yeah that made my mind up for me. Saw a few of these guys on clearance at a local walmart so heading there to grab whats left. Thanks

No, the voyagers arent cheaper because Lockdown IS NOT priced as a voyager. He is priced between a voyager and deluxe. A voyager would cost between 25-30$ US in Japan.

Yup. HLJ has TAV Ultra Magnus for 3440 Yen, Lockdown is only 2800. Also, Lockdown is low stock, so scoop him up while he's cheap!

The Transformer Tweeting Guru TFyuki has decided to tease us once again, this time with Transformers Adventure TAV-18 Drift! This version has added paint applications compared to the Stateside Hasbro Transformers Robots in Disguise Warrior Class Drift, and is slated for release in Japan this June. Differences include: mustache/beard painted, helm trim, blue on the chest, black trim on the skirt, and more red and black on the legs and feet. Blogger slash Tweeter Alfes2010 has posted some pictures of TakaraTomy Transformers Adventure figures TAV-15 Lockdown, TAV-16 Bombshell & TAV-17 Shrapnel! Lockdown is of course a re-deco of the original Transformers Animated figure, while the Insecticons (Bombshell & Skrapnel) hail from the Legends Class Generations/Combiner Wars lines. Lockdown aside from deco remains unchanged, but the bugs have been slightly remolded in order to incorporate the circle TAV logo sticker on their chests. This development may turn some off, the unified deco of the pair still pleases this reporter. See the pics below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers News!

I know I am just stating the obvious but those paint aps on his chest and face really make him look, well EVIL!

Hey guys? have you noticed that Lockdown has green lightpiping, painted over with red? Just pointing out something kinda silly about this figure.

Ugh. Why do those stickers have to be so big?
