The brown on Optimus Prime's weapon doesn't go very well with the gold. Still, I wish Hasbro would do cool stuff like this for us.

you know, to this day, I still don't see the appeal of these "Lucky Draw Solid Gold" Figures. I like the original paint jobs more. Megs looks just hideous! Now, If it were like, Lucky Draw Solid Gold Leobreaker, with all the yellow parts painted this gold, but keeping all the neccesary paint aps, or any "Gold" Figure really, it may be better off, but megatron is alot of things, least of all, is "shiny"

man i miss transmetals, why does hasbro refuse to bring it back? anyway now that thats out of my system if hasbro were to do gold or silver variants like this id even buy the really crappy figures, at this point thats most of the DOTM line.

I could see some of them making good statues. Like, as if a statue of that character was erected in their honor.

I love rare Transformers, and Lucky Draw's by definition are rare. They may not make alot of sense from in that they almost never represent a yellow character (like Sunstreaker for example), but a shelf full of these guys would be so EPIC!!!
This is perhaps my favorite mold from the DOTM line. It has a nice Evangelion vibe to it.

Well I meant more in general.
This time it doesn't really fit.
I dont think this megatron would want his damaged recovering self made into a statue. Past gold figure though, many of those would be good symbols of pride.

I know, Like lucky draw Galaxy Convoy? If I had an Iacon city diorama he'd be right in the middle as a statue of great importance to what it means to be an autobot...
the longhaul head thing was just me poking fun at the little guy... I noticed he had a wheel... Just what In the hell does he turn into anyway? I feel like, whilst looking over the concept art, Iv'e seen an alt mode in there for him, like a spare tire holder, or a little trailer hitch bit add on to megatron, or something. either way, he'd make a great scout figure, but seeing as how we dont exactly have scouts this time around, theyre all human alliance, he'd have to come with a bigger figure...

I can well imagine after winning, the care taken to wipe off each smudge, cradle carefully from place to place... I can do without!
