More chrome, more chrome and more chrome. If you've been missing it on your Transformers Generations figures, then wait no longer. While not completely official, KapowToys has stated that Takara will be taking Generations under it's wing as Transformers United. These will be set for release in December!

What about that blue repaint of the Classics Bumblebee with chrome that surface a few months ago? It could be that.

While they are at it, I would be glad to see repaints of Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Optimus Primal/Cybertron Deluxe Class Jungle Planet Optimus Prime, as well as Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Megatron/Cybertron Deluxe Class Jungle Planet Megatron/Botcon 2010 Cindersaur. I am unsure what or how the Cyber Keys/Force Chips will be handled.

So United is basically going to be the equivalent to Henkei? I hope chrome is avoided but I'm all for TT's take on the colour schemes. The Generations figures have been great so far so I'm all for the United line. I'm not big on repaints but I enjoy Generations figures as much as Classics figures so I'll be picking up at least a few United offerings.

The blue Classics Bumblebutt was decided to be a high quality KO & not an official product.

This is going to be like Henkei all over again. Drift is awesome, but how much nicer is the United version going to be?

There's going to be a lot of buying a mold and not opening it in case the United version is vastly better (like Hound better, not like Sunstreaker better).

Hmm. Wonder if I should wait for Takara's WFC Megatron. Knowing them, they'll give him silver paint, which the Hasbro one lacks.

Stiffer material would be cool but chroming them would be a big failure. They're parts that will encounter friction when sheathed and removed from the sheathes so the chrome wouldn't last long.
