Yes, but in what form? It's unlikely they'll use this mold since Takara Tomy is going traditional and keeping with the five bot teams. I doubt they'll be making a new groove figure so maybe Rook has a groove head in his mold?
Runabout is a no-brainer, that's who the mold was intended to be in the first place.

Also, Sabr, is that Optimus as big as the giant Hasbro Bumblebee coming out later this year? Does he beat DOTM's supposedly Tallest Optimus figure?

Nope, that's perfectly possible with the regular Vehicon. The gun has two small clamps on the bottom so it can attach to the either the sides of the hood (above the wheel covers), or on his forearms. And yes, the 5mm post is actually on the side of the gun, not the bottom
