I certainly didn't mean to speak to the quality of the club's prose stories; hard to do that when I haven't read them. Any stories in particular stand out as gems? Would be interested to take a look at them!

I would personally recommend the Shattered Glass prose, although if you're not a fan of the Shattered Glass concept that may not appeal. In that event, I would suggest any of the current "Beast Wars: Uprising" stuff, which typically has the advantage of being a touch shorter, but I still prefer the SG stuff.

Still a well done story though, although some aspects felt a bit artificial when trying to play him up as badass.

I wonder if the stuff about him keeping that head in his torso might lead in to the Combiner fiction (although he does discard the noggin later).
