Tomy Takara Channel recently posted an advertisement video clip on the ROTF toys.

The advertisement introduces some of the unique features of the toys such as combination (e.g. Powered up Optimus Prime, Supreme Devastator etc), Mech Alive, lights and sounds, different classes of the toys such as Leader, Voyager, Deluxe, EZ Legends as well as Gravity Bots.

Shots on transformation of the toys will also certainly make the toys more attractive to the target customers.

Hearing the voice over guy say gattai when Jetfire and Optimus combined was pretty neat-o. Imagine using the RotF line of toys in a commercial the way Diaclone and the early Transformers commercials were done with stop-motion animation.

I miss those old TF and Diaclone style awesome commercials. and this had just enough of a feel like that for me to be happy. So, in Japan, the movie isnt dubbed, is it? So weird hearing the Japanese say Optimus Prime instead of Convoy...

That had to be one of the least exciting commercials I've seen in a long time from Takara Tomy. Makes me miss the days of the old school G1 and Diaclone commercials. So much better.
