I don't know dude once you have one in hand they're not that bad. Believe me I was just like you, "JUST SAY NO TO MECHTECH", but when I got my Bumblebee I was thinking about just putting the mechtech weapon up somewhere and never talk about it again, you know like that crazy uncle no one likes to talk about. But after a while it doesn't look that bad on BB. But meh that's just me though and to each their own.

It's like. Drop $240 on these bad boys at BBTS and don't have stuff to pimp out your LD BB Bumblebee, or just have a plain ole LD BB Bumblebee.. Hmmmmmm
Don't tell me we're going back to Rated X 2008 days. Cap locks wasn't cool then and it's not cool now.
I'm with you on the weapons, but this gives a clear view on figures now. There are so many figures from '07 and ROTF that aren't considered because their weapon sucks. Now everyone's weapons are the same, and we can now judge a mold on how it truly is.

Looks like 3 different types of weapons to me. One of them comes in both gold and silver varieties, wonder if the others do too.

Too much is compromised to create a feature that is designed to impress a 3 year old mind. I understand that they are toys, and even though we just display them, kids actually do play with them.
But when it comes to vechicle mode I am ultra picky. I dont mind inward gun holes or the more discrete clamps like on the Generations figures, but these outward petruding mechtech ports look horrible. Take poor ironhide for example. If you dont display his vechicle mode with weapons, youre truck has two huge pegs petruding from the side doors and one on the roof. What an eyesore !!!
