I know and I did that. I was just confirming that it was. That's why I wrote: "it has the right skn number". Which is excellent news since Downshift had said that it had not worked with Devastator.

They're upside down, partly because that's how they should look with the wings transformed as they are between jet and bot modes. The better question should then be, why are they oriented as they are for jet mode? The reason, as I've been told, is because that is the proper way for markings to be oriented on a fighter jet, such that, if you were another jet in formation, and slightly above the plane ahead of you, you can easily read the markings (they won't look upside down to you). Same goes for markings below. You wouldn't be able to see a jet behind you, so no consideration is given to markings for that position. Same goes for two jets passing in opposite directions. You wouldn't be able to see the markings in ANY orientation moving that fast.

So I check TRU's website often to see if SS is back in stock. Every time I do the SS page crashes Firefox. What the...?
Does this happen to anyone else? Just seems so weird. Actual site doesn't do it, just the one page.

MP-11 is Takara's release number for Masterpiece Starscream. In Hasbro markets, it's MP-07. Their numbering systems are completely different.

Anybody outside canada has this problem, this is a country exclusive site, just like Takaratomymall, Amazon Japan (for the toys) and a bunch of others. The only option for people in the US is to go through an intermidiary on the canadian border that will either keep it for you to pick up or send it to you. In this case its free shipping so you wouldnt be paying shipping twice. A canadian friend can do that too.

Takara Masterpiece MP-7 is Thundercracker, not Starscream. You're thinking of MP-3. As for the decos offered with Masterpiece Starscreams, Takara's original "blue-gray" fuselage color for Starscream is exclusive to them, Hasbro redecoed Starscream in G1 colors, which Takara then imported as a "USA Edition" later on. The remold Takara MP-11 Starscream and Hasbro's upcoming MP-07 release of the same share a very similar deco from preliminary promotional photography. The only obvious difference is that Hasbro's has a toy accurate blue nosecone, while Takara's is cartoon accurate light gray. There may be other subtle difference apparent later once people get Hasbro MP-07 in hand, of course.

Argh! How could I have gotten that mixed up! My bad! Still, point is, Starscream is one whole mess of confusion.
