Then again, the other characters in this game are all toy-accurate too. They're just based on more modern toys like Generations and stuff from the TCC.

With the new update expanding leagues to ten members it's time to recruit...my league, Zombots, needs some more active players.

We play daily, we play the events, but we're free players. Only requirement to join is that you're warrior 1 level or higher, and that you're an active daily player.

As soon as I saw that the app includes in-game purchases, I decided not to even download it. I'm not going to waste my time on a Skinner Box.

On that note, can anyone tell me if I stand a chance of picking up the exclusive Scourge as a free player? I figure if I keep leveling up through the month I can afford stronger characters that will let me beat the medium and hard campaigns to get the appropriate resources, but I want to know if I'm wasting my time.

Interestingly enough, I can put together a stronger team for today than yesterday. I've scraped through most of the Medium campaign with some good rolls. Looks like the final Medium team with all the First Strikers is going to wall me for today, though.

Have you tried updating the app? They introduced a Bruticus event so your installed version might clash with what the server says you should have.

Okay, now it's happening to me as well. And a lot of other people, according to the recent reviews on the Play store. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting my phone, no dice. Something's broken.

Totally forgot to mention that I found a workaround by uninstalling updates to Android System WebView, but now that there's a game app update that might be moot.

Despite being absent from the game for a few days my league managed to net not one, but two Brawls (second one showed up today out of nowhere, so that may have been an apology gift for breaking the game). This has enabled me to beat the medium difficulty on the Scourge events, so if I can recruit strong bots in other classes I may yet have a chance at getting him. I've also got enough Exclusive Cores (traded from Event Cores) to get most of the Exclusive characters that don't require character-specific cores, and last but not least I have 11 Vortex cores to throw at him when I have enough other resources to nab him. Good times all around!
