YouTube reviewer peaugh has uploaded his latest round of Transformers DOTM reviews. This time around we get a look into the new world of Cyberverse. Optimus Prime and Megatron both take the form of tractor trailer combos. Optimus Prime is a repaint of the Limited Edition Movie Preview figure that's on shelves right now. The cyberverse line is where my cash is going. Nice how hasbro didn't put flames on this Prime, forcing me to buy the one with flames as well.

I caught that. I'm not a happy camper about that either. However, we do end up with both accessory pieces this way. So, I guess it's somewhat of a win win.

Megatron looks good and Prime's ok. They're probably too expensive to justify buying though.

I got the preview Prime for my birthday a couple days back and I actually really like the bugger. I will have to look for the trailer version.

Megatron is rather meh. More the fault of his mode and bot design then this little toy.

Just picked Prime up at Walmart here in San Diego. I'll put some pics up on my flickr site soon. He's taller than the legends class by about an inch - two inches.

These are so cute!

They look like a lot of fun for kids to play with.

Unfortunately, small figures aren't generally my cup o' tea though, so I'll more oft than not be passing on Cyberverse. Blackout and Powerglide I doubt I'll be able to resist though. :o)

Kids, I hope you love 'em. Buy lots of them so we can get even more Transformers!

Hmm...kind of cool. I have Cyberverse Optimus, and I think he's great, so maybe the mini Ultimate Optimus will be too. The paint job is kind of cheap, but I suppose that's a plus if you already have the standard version.
Megatron is okay in vehicle mode but I'm not sure about the backpack.

As a follow up to his earlier video reviews peaugh has posted the bios for Cyberverse Optimus Prime and Megatron over on TFW2005. It's unknown if these bios are rooted in the upcoming film or it they are solely intended for the Cyberverse toyline. Check them out below.

Optimus Prime turns his Armored Weapons Platform when his Energon Blades can’t quite cut it. The strike base is equipped with weapons far more powerful than the handheld variety he usually wields. The Armored Weapons Platform also converts to a mechanical exosuit if mobility enhancement is required. Decepticon foes beware – Optimus Prime has become even more powerful.

Few Autobots have ever seriously challenged Megatron and his fusion cannon. Far fewer will dare challenge him when the Blastwave Weapons Base is deployed. This powerful piece of weaponry is equipped with the latest generation Decepticon particle blasters and multiple missile pods. The base’s jet mode allows Megatron to swoop from battle to battle, leaving Autobot scrap in his wake.
