Transformers DOTM Deluxe Sideswipe Video Review

This review was very amusing, peaugh was all hopped up on tea lol. Aside from that on Sideswipe I'm torn; I really like the weapon and some of the details but just like Sidearm Sideswipe there are too many loose floaty panels. Hmm I may get it on sale.

Personally, I really prefer the unpainted, almost white color (I don't know why, but I've always just liked white for cars and transformers), and somehow it reminds me of the unicron trilogy's style. If I pick up any DotM figure, it'll be this one.

That's a pretty bad backpack, and I don't like the fact that you can see through the car, but otherwise it looks like a fun TF. Cool Mechtech weapon too. Unfortunately, the lack of paint kills it for me. I'll be sticking with my original Sideswipe, unless they repaint this one later on.

not liking this one at all. except for his swords. if the united sidearm sideswipe had these kind of blades, he'd be pretty much the perfect deluxe version.
also, just decided i'm gonna get a united s-sideswipe as replacement for my old rotf one

Well, I usually don't buy figures by how shiny they are, so screw paint apps.

Looking at him as a Transformer, and as Sideswipe, I like him better than both of his previous versions. He doesn't have gigantic chunks of back kibble that can't be hidden. The door sections at least can fold onto his back so they're less obvious. The knife weapon is neat too.
Most of all, I like the alt-mode. I'm really liking the drop-top rendition of the Corvette Concept.

I like how unobtrusive his mechtech gun is, and the fact that he's still almost the same size as Sidearm Sideswipe. And despite the simplified transformation, he looks decent in bot mode.

The fact that his alt mode's got no floor in the passenger area does suck, but it shouldn't be noticeable on a shelf.

His lack of silver is easily remedied with a coat of Krylon, too. I'm likely to pick him up when he comes out.

I hate this SS! I like the ROTF SS and the Sidearm SS.
