Man, Hasbro's site is all jacked up this morning. Took me about 5 tries got to get the neon big guy ordered. Use code SPRING16 to save an extra 15%. This put me at just over $90 with tax.

No worries, I just thought it was odd... There are some sellers on eBay actually selling this for about the same price. I got one for $104 (shipping included). But yeah G2 Superion is still in stock at TRU, Hasbro Toy shop etc... I just think sometimes, Decepticon characters seem to have lower production quantity than Autobot ones, so some of us are a little gun shy and want to get it ASAP.
Funny how this goes all the way back top the original Transformers. I remember in 1985/86 seeing the Superion gift set numerous times, but I never saw the Menasor one in a store. Saw plenty of the individual toys everywhere, but no Stuntacon Giftset/ Come to think of it...I think Superion was the ONLY gift set I ever saw on in store (never saw Defensor, Computron, or Piranacon)
*(In the United States, Gift sets of Bruticus, Predaking, and Abominus were never released as they were in Japan & Europe)

Oddly enough, my parents must have found it somewhere because I got it for Christmas. I think I even basically plagiarized the entire back of the box for a "What did you get for Christmas" writing assignment once winter break ended.
Menasor, Sideswipe and Skywarp were and still are my favorites from childhood, so I basically look out for any incarnation of them.
I almost pulled the trigger on one on Amazon for about $105 just 2 days ago. So glad I waited for HTS and they had a code. Can't wait to get the neon badass.

For sure. I know the gist sets were out there. I have seen dozens of them on eBay over the years, and a conventions (originals, not knockoffs or reproductions). I'm just saying the Stuntacon one probably had a much lower production run than the Aerialbot one... for whatever reason.
Still a cool story though. I remember getting Omega Supreme in 85, and Fort Max in 87. Good times.

Wow, they didn't fix the issue with Motormaster's hips like BC OP for this release? And it seems that all the tolerances got even worse from the regular release that I have.

Just checked HTS. As of when I looked, the Menasor set had vanished from HTS. Props to those who acted quickly and got theirs....
It was funny to read how they took the bios from Superion and just plugged Menasor's name in his place. Who knew that Menasor would 'fight the Decepticons with all out force in the land and in the air'? And that Silverbolt, et. al., are the figures included?

hey thanks for the coupon code i used it to buy the four Sky Reign limbs for 57.77 with free shipping
if i had bought them at the local toys r us it would have been like 80 and BBTS slighty less by about 6 bucks

For those ordering from Hasbro Toy Shop in the near future, there's some codes you can take advantage of.
