Anybody wonder what size and version of optimus would make perfect to pose metroplex holding him in the palm of his hand?

Fort Max could just sit on Metroplex and it would be all over.

Metroplex heeds the call of the last Prime.

I'd prefer the WST version for purposes of scale, but, unfortunately, he's the wrong style (G1) and doesn't pose worth a darn.

I wish they would put something other than KREO to show the scale of the hands. I dont collect those things and I dont own a Fort Max either. They should put classics figures next to it.

I'd do the whole "take my money" thing, but I think that's a given for most of us here.

All we get to see are his hands?
Hopefully we get to see more images soon. I really can't wait for his release.
His release date is somewhere after July, right?

I'm glad they used something current.
I can't afford to pay $30+ apiece for a deluxe.

Also, they're the same size as Lego minifigures. Surely you know how big those are?

I haven't touched or held one of those in years.

They're about this big nowadays (it's the reason why Transformers are so small):

And children it would seem...
I think the new Generations Cyberversey style OP with Roller is designed to work with him, even though a small G1 OP can be clearly seen through his windshield. Oh well

Unless you've seen the toy at Toy Fair, there hasn't been any clear images of the Optimus in his torso (at least to my knowledge) on the web. From the very little I saw, it didn't look straight-up Generation One to me. I saw either the upcoming Legends-scaled toy or the Classics Voyager from 2006/07.
