Interesting. I wonder if these are just repackaged or reissues.

Wish they would finally release those unreleased Scout figures from Reveal the Shield.

I actually saw these on Amazon a few days ago. Also, that Bumblebee is actually a reissue of that legends Bumblebee that came in a Dark of the Moon Toys R Us 4-pack with another Bumblebee and 2 Starscreams.

Just noticed that Starscream has some peg holes on his wings. Possible nullrays?

Same holes as what my Thundercracker has. Null Rays or whatever you want to consider the blasters to be but yes, they mount on either top or bottom of the wing in jet mode.
I'm glad to see these kicking around since I missed out on my chance to get Starscream the first few times around. Likewise the Optimus but his mold didn't really intrigue me all that much when I first saw it but the completist in me is telling me I should get it just to add another piece to my Prime collection. Plus he's G1 style and since I've grown to detest the new movie style, at least in bot mode, I'm starting to snatch up as many G1 looking versions of him as I can get.

Didn't realize these figures were hard to come by. Both of the Big Lots in my area and at least one other store still has the previous release of these guys along with the G2 Megatron tank. For cheaper if I remember correctly as I only picked up the Megatron and that was back in October. I've been to the stores since and they still have them I just don't remember the price other than it being lower than what they're advertising for these AOE carded versions.

Both the Optimus and Starscream molds have the retooled parts they received with their GDO Motorbreath and Thundercracker releases, but sadly do not contain the new weapons that these retoolings were made for. Meaning Optimus doesn't have his sword and Starscream likewise lacks his handheld null rays.

The dollar general by me still has the ones that come with the weapons.

I was just there Friday and contemplated buying these. They are $5 at Big Lots and the ones there have a sword with Optimus and Null rays with Starscream. So, why would anyone buy these if you can get them a buck cheaper and with accessories at a competitor? Assuming you do not already have the RTS ones.

Completists and those who've never seen them before. Surprisingly, some stores and some regions do not carry these, or at least not in full force.
