Looks good so far. The left hand looks a little weird but it may just be mistransformed...

Rather than trying to be the first to post pics, why not just take quality pictures and THEN post?

Mis-Transformed.
NOT A COMPLAINT!
He looks AMAZING!
I Want EVERY TF Prime Figure.
EVERY SINGLE ONE!
Maybe switch around a few 1st additions for RID versions, but every character. I Really hope this doesn't bite the dust like animated. Damn, I miss animated.

Not too bad. Certainly a better Voyager than Optimus. Other than a Deluxe, there's nothing from First Edition to compare this to. The Deluxe is excellent, I'm assuming the Voyager is even better.

so.. in the show he's mostly chrome/bright silver.. yet his figure looks to have a decent amount of that disgusting brown plastic.. that makes no sense. hasbro uses the normal light grey plastic with everything, yet now, when it would actually make more sense.. they choose not to use it.
anyways, i like the mold.. i'm hoping this is the takara version and the hasbro one will look better (sorry, i was literally laughing out loud while i typed that lol)

Dude, it's poor lighting. He's not brown. He's silver in the catalog scan.TimothyR wrote:so.. in the show he's mostly chrome/bright silver.. yet his figure looks to have a decent amount of that disgusting brown plastic.. that makes no sense. hasbro uses the normal light grey plastic with everything, yet now, when it would actually make more sense.. they choose not to use it.

The catalogue scan's probably the photoshopped promotional image of the toy, I've stopped trusting those for colour accuracy for quite a while now...
That said, I REALLY REALLY hope you're right.

I know it'd gotta be bad lighting since some of his purple parts look black (or close to it) in those images to me.Kamex wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Dude, it's poor lighting. He's not brown. The toy appears to be slightly mis-trasformed in both modes. the mis-transformed jet mode looks like TM1 Waspinators jet mode.
I can't further judge the toy. till i see bigger, clearer & more accurately transformed toy pics.

Precisely what I hoped TF: Prime Megs would look like. I can't wait for him.

Im not liking this stumpy spaceship mode all the Megatron figures seem to have; I'm sure it's sleeker looking in the show. Still, at least this guy being ugly gives me an excuse not to buy him and jus mix and match with my animated Megs. Lord knows I don't need a longer wish list.

It looks like a claw weapon held by his left hand. It might be the piece infront of the cannon in jet mode. I think the shoulders are mistransformed aswell. They should be able to rotate down a bit more.
Take a good look at this close-up from the Argos website:

You might be right about the bad lighting, but I doubt good lighting will make it look silvery/grey. Surely it'd just look like a lighter brown.

I already want this. Megs has a sweet design and it looks like they're staying close to his on-screen appearance.
I'm a happy fanboy.

I hope that is a removable weapon and not just GIMMICK FIST.
Also note in these pictures, that while it could be blamed on bad lighting at a glance, notice that the claws are a completely different from the rest of him, where as the promo pics say they should also be silver, here his body looks tan where as his claws are brown. So yeah, he's brown.
