In defense of the original toy, the toy came before the show design. The show deviated from the toy, rather than vice versa.

I honestly can believe that, which is really, really sad. It honestly feels like every bw 'celebratory' thing they try to do ends up being awkward and half-a$$ed, and ends up coming across as a slap in the face to bw fans... 'Hey we're not going to celebrate the anniversary this year', 'hey here's a bmach figure from rid dressed up as g1 prime', 'hey, here's an inappropriately colored bw scorponok homage'... all they had to do was give him black plastic (or whatever color he was translucent gunmetal maybe, some of the photo's look like it)

You sound so surprised. John Warden is pretty much a hard-core GEEWUNer who refers to Beast Wars as the "dark times". There's a reason over at /toy/ we call him John "Not Muh GEEWUN, Not Getting Done" Warden (along with John "Beast Wars was a mistake" Warden, John "Hollow Torso, Limbs Even Moreso" Warden etc).

I like very much this Warrior Starscream that just came from the RID line, mix between G1 movie and Armada.

Lavender and Purple are hardly different colors their just different shades of the same thing Paralon is a Beast Wars Homage not actually the Beast Wars character himself.


Why don't you just paint it if you don't like the color palette and if you can't paint then get a buddy too that's what I do.

I got them all. While I dont like repaints, I got Paralon because I just wanted to try out that mold and this one came out first. Plus that head is amazing, gorgeous paint apps on it. He has great paint and colour all around with a nice mix of plastic colours. I will be reviewing them all tonight

For now, here is the box assortment, where we can see that Starscream makes up half of the box. This may be an indication that Hasbro is aware of how sought after this toy would be and that this was indeed the first planned release of this mold.

I was able to purchase the three Toysrus Exclusive Clash of the Transformers 2016 figures from the Robots in Diguise Line. Pictures with comparisons to others toys, along with a written review of each will be posted later and in the meantime I wanted to point out the box assortment and post some clearer images of the art and official stock images found on the boxes, which also showcase the transformation.

Here is the box assortment, where we can see that Starscream makes up half of the box (with two Primes and two Paralons). This may be an indication that Hasbro is aware of how sought after this toy would be and that this is indeed the first planned release of this mold and the main release of this character in the warrior class.



Below you will find the box bar codes along with the side art. Only Starcream's art is accurate. Optimus is reused with no change in colour (unlike the toy) and Paralon has the wrong head.

Those images are followed by the back of the box of each of them, which showcases Hasbro's 3d rendered stock images which will probably be featured when these figures are officially revealed. You can also see the transformation steps.











While it seems Starscream has the least steps, he actually turns out to be the most complex. We will dive into this more with the upcoming pictorial reviews so stay tuned.

Man, the stock photos make 'Scream look a lot worse than he is...that's why I look for in hand pictures and reviews, the stock photos often make a good toy look awful...
