Some new news for the Transformers Robots in Diguise line, too, in the smaller class of Legion figures. Thanks to the German branch of online retailer Amazon, we have a look at official photography of the known Blizzard Strike Optimus Prime, and new reveal Ratchet - which shares a lot of similarities to his Prime design, and could indicate a return of the grumpy medic to the screen. Let us know what you think in the Energon pub!

Not only has the Strongarm mold's head been remolded but its torso as well. Neat.

You know, if this is true, I'm pretty sure that Fixit will get a chance to meet his own predecessor for the first time, since that he, too, is also a medic. :BOT:

Toys I couldn't care less for, but the art of Ratchet makes me hopeful we might see some of Team Prime in the show.

I love how his new design has a windscreen chest but the retool gives him his old car doors chest, why?

When Ultra Magnus got a Legion toy, his artwork was a recolored version of that toy's Optimus Prime art (with UM head added). The fact that Ratchet gets his own design in the artwork is very intriguing.

Notice how the box art design is completely different from the toy's?

I think there is a good chance that Ratchet can return since he chose to stay on Earth yes I know he came back to Cybertron for Predacons rising but it was an emergency and I'm pretty sure he went back afterwards

I bought a RiD toy.
Image
He's small for a Legions, his mouth won't close, his little legs are nearly useless for any kind of support (such as the above pose), and his car has a big hole in the back
Image
And it's rather depressing that this is the same size class that gave us the Dreads, the Terrorcons, and the highly articulated Fixit; and people will inevitably lose his eyes and legs.... But I guess Clampdown's alright.

We have a whole slew of new toy images for upcoming produts from the Transformers Robots in Disguise line. While some of these were previously seen as CG renders, these are pictures of the actual toys.

German wesbite Brandora has product images for Robots in Disguise Stealthsaurus Rex Grimlock. The stealth mode refers to him having the same colour pattern as the Stealth Bumblebee deco but this time on the Three Step Grimlock.

Amazon.ca has images for Titan Gardian Strongarm and Grimlock.

Hasbro Poland has the official toy images for the upcoming minicons Scorch Strike Jetstorm, Ransack, and Glacius, who are all part of the 4th wave of minicons.

At least I am finally getting my individual Jetstorm to go with slipstream....

Now just need Airrazor as an individual :MAXIMAL:

Continuing their war on Grimlock, Hasbro gives him the appearance of a nauseous, constipated orangutan!

The 7-year old is going to love new minicons.

Ugh...Titan figures, does anyone actually buy those? The 7-year old is already way too old to like them and the twins will beat each other with them.

Judging by the profane amount of 'em that I've see decomposing in various clearance aisles over the years, I'd say, no >:oP

Stealth Bumblebee, with a green... tail? Oh.
So is everyone going to wear black and yellow?

Reportedly, the Titans are a hit in poorer markets where they can't afford actual transformers.

That would be great if these cost $5, but they don't. I think my local stores sell these for $20. You can actually buy deluxe transformers that, you know, transform for $5 less.

I just don't get the point of the shampoo bottles. They can't transform. They don't have the increased articulation that non-transforming Transformers often have. They don't have the increase in accuracy, sculpture and paintwork that minimally articulated figures often have. And they aren't even that cheap. If they were hugely poseable or gorgeously painted or extremely cartoon accurate or only £2 I might understand. But as is? There is literally no point to getting them over a Warrior class figure or even a one-step. I'm no economist, but there is absolutely no way that continuing to make these...things makes any sense for Hasbro. It decreases the budget they have for other lines and it takes up space on store shelves that could be used by stuff that will actually sell.

I weep for the ignorance on these boards regarding these "shampoo bottles". These arent Transfomers toys aside from having that branding. In reality, they are part of a bigger line called Titans from Hasbro which sells ridiculously well for 4 year olds, and are made of vynyl so that kids dont get hurt:

They are found in all Hasbro brands and this is what sells most under the Marvel umbrella. No reason Hasbro wouldnt try that success with another one of its monster brands. This isnt new and its been arond for a while and selling, and the world hasnt ended and Hasbro is still making traditional Transformers for you. No need to whine at something you dont understand and that isnt made for you!

So, everybody's getting a Stealth, Blizzard, and/or Scorch Strike deco... am I too late to coin the phrase "Repaints in Disguise?"
