Interesting....loved the size comparisons. About the size of the standard Generations lines of the last few years in vehicle mode, but perhaps more squat in robot mode.
Still not enough is cool about the toys themselves to interest me in this line.
Strongarm is the only one I'll buy, and only because I collect fembot characters. Combiner Wars has all my money this next year.

Glad you like the size comparisons. I did them because anytime I see size comparisons they are generally of toys in the same wave, which is no good. So I picked toys that people might have or have one of the moulds of (except Quickmix, he was just handy after I got him in a comic shop in Dublin).

Soooo... When did they start printing the instructions on the back of the card instead of on a sheet? Or are these smaller than I think they are?

Since Age of Extinction's Robots in Disguise line: The One-Steps, Flip/Smash and Change, and Power Battlers had the instructions on the back of the card. Generations still had separate sheets, and it will remain that way (since Warrior Class is not part of Generations it seems).

This has probably been mentioned somewhere before but... "Strongarm"? as a Police vehicle? These days???
I don't know if that's the message they should be sending...
STILL-
...I'm willing to prefer that it's just an unfortunate coincidence...
...But the other Characters seem interesting. Bisk, HammerStrike and Underbite have lots of potential, I think. Sorry to see Steeljaw become a Decepticon, he was one of my favorite Autobot Cassettes
Very interesting concept, this iteration of Transformers...

There's already an official RiD thread, and we don't need a whole thread dedicated to negativity. There's enough of that around here already.
These are toys designed for young children. Your criticism of them is equivalent to criticizing Sesame Street toys.

Okay, That's the bit of info I didn't have; I did not know that Strongarm was a female character.
Makes me wonder if she'll turn out to be a female counterpart to Prowl or something.
Anyway in my original statement, I was alluding to the fact that this has been a year rife with high-profile police brutality cases and a growing national outrage over it... I just thought that naming a Police vehicle "Strongarm" was a bad choice because it could be seen to support the overuse of force by police... but that's digging too deep and before I get severely flamed for this I'll retract the comment. I never meant to start anything...
I am glad that there's a solid Female character and that the character is an authority figure. The toys for this line keep getting more and more interesting...

Well, that was fast. At least for the Irish. Maybe they ARE lucky.
I'm still thinking that I'll only pick up these from Ross or TJ Maxx if I see them there. I don't think full price for these is gonna do it for me.

I thought that's what you were alluding too. The currant state of affairs that is.

She's not the first police car to be named "Strongarm":

This Classics Mini-Con from 2006 had the same name, that's why she's named that: Hasbro likes to reuse names between similarly themed characters.
It could be argued that the name is used figuratively ("The strong arm of the law"), not literally.

If we don't get a black redeco of Strongarm as this, it will be a massively missed opportunity.

Seeing the preview clips and all, I have some concerns about the series premise. So far we've been given no indication that the Decepticons have any core leader. And none of the usual Decepticons seem to be represented in the series at all. It says there's a 'prison ship' full of cons, and Bumblebee's team is just there to round them up like dogcatchers or something.
Without Megatron, or Galvatron, or heck even Starscream to lead them, then the cons won't seem like a significant or organized threat. It could be just episodes where a new con pops up, they run out and catch him, then go home for a beer or something.
I don't know about anyone else, but I watch Tformer shows to see the Decepticons as much as anything else.

I have seen nothing about this line so far that is even tempting me to consider buying any.
I'm not trying to be overly critical but I feel absolutely no excitement or curiosity about these toys.

Prowl? Yanno, that actually makes sense. A law enforcer in a show with a bunch of escaped con-convicts? Might be like how Ultra Magnus was to TFPrime.

Considering how many toys Steeljaw seems to be getting, and the fact that only leaders (and Bumblebee) get that many figures, it's pretty likely that he'll be the big bad for this show.

That's the impression I get (the name also says strength, valor, etc), though I am half surprised there wasn't some last minute change. Y'know, postponing everything while they rerecord every line that mention's her name, stickers getting slapped on every package, etc.
Then again, this is just 'sorta kinda' hitting an issue. Nothing like "Spastic" or Exhaust or even the Batman movie shooting...
