Next weekend, Audiovisuals ICAIC (Cuban Film Institute) will offer a new cinematographic service to foreign film production, in this case, for the U.S. film Transformers 5, directed by Michael Bay for Paramount Pictures.
According to Granma newspaper, the shooting will take place in Havana by a small film crew and will not require road closures, so it should not cause disruption to normal city life.
The scenes filmed in the Cuban capital, specifically in the area of the seafront and Old Havana will be part of a montage of shots in big cities of the world, to which, in post-production, robots will be digitally added to show how they have integrated into life on Earth.
Services to foreign production are part of the regular work of the Institute and aim to contribute to the income of foreign currency for the national film industry and to increase employment opportunities for Cuban technicians and artists.

TF4: Autobots being hunted down and forced to go into hiding
TF5: They've settled into life on earth with humans
Just a bit of a difference, lol

With Cemetery Wind no longer a thing, the Autobots no longer need to be on the run since those who were hunting and killing them are gone.

Why is Cemetery Wind no longer a thing? I don't remember that being mentioned.
AoE didn't do any kind of job explaining why the US government was working with the Autobots in DotM and then suddenly against them in AoE. The very fact that the military was working with the Autobots should have made it clear that the Autobots saved the planet.
I should really stop trying to apply any sort of logic to AoE.
Anyway, I'm hoping that Nightbeat shows up to help Optimus sort out this whole creator thing.

Am I the only one who can see that the spoiler grey-stroke isn't working on the actual news pages? For those who care, it would be helpful to fix these up.

In AoE, it was made clear that the US government did not know Cemetery Wind was hunting down and killing Autobots in addition to the cons. That was explicit. Only Cemetery wind knew of the Autobots being killed. And then, their unit was wiped out and the head of field operations as well as the government head were killed, and there were witnesses to their corruption that could testify, and fact that the autobots proved to be heroes would allow further proof of how they had been treated. Thus, Cemetery wind could fairly be said to have been eliminated, or at least disbanded following the reveal of what it had been doing

I've noticed, but there really isn't a way to fix it thus far. Even the swear filter doesn't work from the front page.

I was about to do a post on this when I noticed yours so I thought it easier to quote
There is illogical circumstances in AoE but Cemetery Wind isn't one of them.

Some Transformers: The Last Knight tidbits for the weekend, courtesy of the Twitterverse. Isabela Moner is training for her 'streetwise kid' role, and is clearly showing more excitement than the deadpan video announcement we reported on previously - as you can see below. And in additional casting, actor Allen Pheonix, currently working on a bio for Tupac and part of the cast of The Birth of a Nation, has confirmed his involvement in the fifth Paramount movie too!
Allen Phoenix - IMDb http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3979406/?ref_=nmbio_ql @IMDb is showing @AllenPhoenix added as newest cast member of #Transformers5 , here's his bio!

That's a shame. Would've loved to see a Blades kid instead; that's something that would be both cool and would fit in the bayverse.
It's always sweet to see videos like this. Cast members getting along with each other and enjoying each other's company and stuff.

Let's hope she turns out to be less of a pawn in the film, and more of a.. Rook.

Sure you don't just like it because he's an Alpha Bravo retool?
Ah, she'll be fine. She just needs to get her Groove on.

She sure looks physically fit enough to tackle a child-played action role.

Does anyone know the filming schedule for Detroit? I know it starts on June 6th, but when does it end? I want to go up there, but since I live nowhere near Detroit, I probably won't be able to get there until after the 10th. I just want to know if filming will be done by then.

Well, remember how many things were spoiled from the first three films by their respective tie-in materials? For AOE, it was a completely unspoiled experience prior to its theatrical release.Kurona wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Meh, it's not like the game makers of RotDS really had much of a choice in how they made the game considering that Bay wouldn't let any licensees look at the AOE movie's script before the film's release so as to prevent any movie tie-ins from spoiling its plot ahead of time, which resulted in no AOE novel, no AOE comics from IDW, and an AOE game that had jack squat to do with the AOE movie.
Seriously...? I mean, of all things to protect, the script? The story is hardly what people care about; even most fans know it's mostly excuse plots for explosions and giant robots punching each other.

Depends on who's answering the question I guess. Bay (and the rest of those involved) have their right to say they don't want anything revealed (though in my opinion, there wasn't anything earth shattering revealed, but again, different strokes for different folks) and wanting moviegoers to experience everything first. It's also sidestepping the problem that we still got a bad game, one that may of well still been bad if solely based on AoE.
